Folks, Hunter Biden was found guilty. He's a convicted felon found guilty on three charges
0:38
of lying on a form to obtain a firearm and today he learned part of his punishment
0:44
Now, I'm not going to get into the whole thing because I'm in a weird position, right
0:49
Hunter Biden is found guilty, but I don't think the law is a great law and the Supreme Court
0:55
basically just upheld a similar law, which is going to really hurt Hunter Biden's appeal in
1:02
a massive way. They were counting on that and a Supreme Court decision comes down eight to one
1:08
that kind of smacks him in the face and really destroys his legal team in their pursuit of an
1:14
appeal. With that being said, he's going to get sentenced pretty soon, but punishment time has
1:21
already started. The Bar Association in Washington, D.C. has suspended his license to practice law
1:29
Believe it or not, Hunter Biden's an attorney. His license now is suspended and he can no longer
1:36
practice his craft and it could go further than that as far as his law could be permanently
1:43
I mean, his law license could be permanently removed. So, this really strikes at the heart of
1:49
how the man makes his living. Now, I know these days he fancies himself an artist and just
1:54
coincidentally people who want to get close to his dad buy his art for six-figure sums of money
2:01
That being said, and maybe they're just art aficionados, maybe Hunter is the next Picasso
2:07
I don't know. But what I do know is it's just beginning for Hunter. Let's take a look at this
2:13
video and then I want you guys to leave me your thoughts in the comments. What do you think his
2:18
punishment should be? Let me know. In the jurisdiction as well against Trump. All right
2:24
we do have some breaking news and I'm glad you're with me. The Washington, D.C. Bar Association has
2:29
officially suspended Hunter Biden's license to practice law and this follows that conviction
2:34
in a federal gun case. It comes as his legal team is officially filing for an appeal of that guilty
2:40
verdict and Hunter's lawyers are arguing a lack of jurisdiction, a legal technicality that does
2:46
not challenge the merits of the case. Hunter Biden was convicted of three felony counts earlier this
2:52
month. He faces a maximum of 25 years behind bars. The judge has yet to set a sentencing date and I
2:59
know they have, what, about 120 days to get that date in. We're not that far into it. Maybe they're
3:04
out, maybe they're waiting for the appeal. I don't know. But what do you make of this
3:10
Well, it's about time that the D.C. Bar takes some action against Hunter Biden. You know
3:15
I've been throughout his entire litigation process, I've been continuing to look at that and
3:20
his license was in good standing that whole time. Now, just a simple conviction for this drug
3:25
offense may not actually remove his bar license entirely. But what I think really needs to be
3:30
looked at with this recent filing by the defense team to quash the case or to kill it based on an
3:36
issue where the defense says that the entire appellate panel should have looked at this
3:45
case before it ever went to trial. That's crying over spilled milk. That's old news. That's
3:50
something that should have been brought up before the trial ever started. If the defense had a
3:54
problem with that, I do not see a likelihood that this is going to be sent back to a new trial or
3:58
somehow invalidate the trial. And then to talk about the simple idea of judges entertaining
4:04
novel issues that should have never been brought in the first place. I think this very issue about
4:09
this idea of trying to undo the trial at this point is is the type of novel issue that's outside
4:16
the bounds of anything I've ever seen before. So I don't see any relief coming Hunter Biden's way
4:20
Well, look, I mean, to the attorney's credit, they're going to do everything they can to get their person to stay out of jail. We'll see how it shakes
