0:24
youtube.com/ explain amera it really
0:27
helps us out it's my left it's your
0:29
right right that being said guys
0:33
Georgia's Secretary of State Brad
0:35
rensburg who I could say nicely has a
0:38
checkered history with former president
0:40
Donald Trump they have actually feuded
0:42
even though they're both Republicans and
0:44
you guys know the story and why that is
0:47
right well he was on CNN this morning
0:49
with a massive announcement and I got to
0:51
tell you it's one Trump's going to love
0:53
it's one I love and I think it's good
0:55
for election integrity and here's what
0:57
it is you guys remember in the last ele
1:01
presidential election the mess with
1:02
Georgia how long it took right well Brad
1:05
Ravensburger he's doing something and
1:07
Brian camp they're doing something that
1:09
a lot of the Swing States like
1:10
Pennsylvania and Arizona are doing the
1:12
complete opposite of the secretary of
1:15
state says we will have the results by
1:17
around midnight on Election night from
1:20
his state of Pennsylvania Arizona
1:23
they're trying to say it's going to take
1:24
maybe 10 14 days to get those results
1:27
that's
1:28
unacceptable it's unacceptable in a
1:31
first world industrialized Nation when
1:34
the rest of the world can get results in
1:37
one night and they're doing it by
1:38
popular vote and hand ballots now I'm
1:42
sorry but it stinks when I hear that it
1:45
makes me suspicious even if there's no
1:47
reason it gives the appearance to people
1:50
of impropriety and it makes people
1:52
suspicious Brad
1:54
ratburger I want to say hats off to you
1:57
sir this is the way to do it I I want
2:00
you guys to watch this video and let me
2:01
know what you think in the comments as
2:04
many folks in Towns County as in other
2:05
counties uh in the metro area but I
2:08
think voters are engaged on both sides
2:09
of the what we just want to do is make
2:11
sure we have a fair honest accurate
2:13
process and that's what we do we have
2:14
photo ID for all forms of voting I've
2:16
done two citizenship audits of the voter
2:19
roles to make sure only American
2:20
citizens are voting in our elections
2:22
have a clean voter list but then we also
2:24
want to improve the process so we can
2:26
streamline we have electronic pole pads
2:28
checking people in in under two minutes
2:30
Trish and I I got checked through in 47
2:32
seconds really fast checkin and then
2:34
voted in 7 minutes Mo voters to have a
2:37
great voter experience and now all these
2:39
early vote totals that we having right
2:41
now have to be reported on by 8:00 P.M 1
2:44
hour after the polls close on Tuesday
2:46
that's going to be 70 to 75% of all the
2:48
votes cast in Georgia will be reported
2:51
by 8:00 P.M we think that's a good thing
2:53
I think V is going to love that that and
2:55
and let's talk about what that could
2:57
potentially mean kind of a change from
2:59
last cycle
3:00
is when the results will be known or
3:02
when the race could be called in Georgia
3:05
we were looking back I think it was last
3:07
cycle that CNN made the call that Joe
3:09
Biden won Georgia I I think it was maybe
3:13
10 days after I mean it was it was days
3:16
after the election and there was a lot
3:18
that went into that we know because of
3:20
um the extensive reviews that were
3:22
required when do you think we'll know
3:23
the results in
3:24
Georgia well it depends how close it is
3:27
but I do know that all the ballots that
3:29
have been cast you know for this early
3:31
vote absentee that have are received
3:33
this weekend they all we be tapul
3:35
reported by no later than 8 p.m. the
3:38
voting that happens on Tuesday you're
3:40
going to get all of that before the end
3:42
of the night May the counties the
3:43
smaller ones particularly will be done
3:45
by 10 to 11:00 at the very latest
3:47
probably 9:30 to 10:00 and then the
3:50
other larger counties but we're looking
3:51
that by the end of the night every vote
3:53
that has been cast that way will be
3:55
reported and up on the board the only
3:56
thing we'll be waiting for is those
3:58
overseas military ballots and the
4:00
absentee ballots that had come in you
4:01
know Monday Tuesday which you know then
4:03
get tabulated you know post election and
4:06
maybe during you know the Tuesday date
4:08
just takes a little bit longer to do
4:10
that and that's about 10,000 ballots
4:12
outstanding but the rest of it will all
4:14
be up before the end of the night so
4:17
after the 2020 race you're talking about
4:19
10 thou 10,000 ballots brings conjures
4:21
up a memory of 11,7 and
