0:31
Donald Trump may not be the next
0:32
president of the United States and
0:33
that's a sad State of Affairs but it
0:35
could happen all the merchandise 45 and
0:38
47 what happens to it if he's actually
0:41
48 right it could
0:44
happen and it's
0:46
farfetched but as each day goes by it
0:49
becomes less far-fetched
0:51
see Donald Trump has to be sworn in on
0:56
January
0:57
20th the Electoral count that has to be
1:00
certified on January 6th we don't have a
1:02
speaker of the house we don't even have
1:05
a front runner and guys there's only a
1:07
TW vote majority or two vote margin Macy
1:10
says he will not vote for Johnson that g
1:14
that means he can lose one more vote and
1:15
that's it so we're in a a no- win
1:19
situation here we could wind up with a
1:21
Democrat speaker of the house we could
1:23
wind up with all kinds of nonsense we
1:25
could wind up with President Chuck
1:28
Grassley that's right he could be the
1:31
president of the United States Trump
1:33
could be froze out because the
1:34
Republicans can't get their act together
1:36
and whether you like it or not right now
1:39
Johnson's the guy look and I I know I've
1:42
made some enemies with this and that's
1:43
fine because I've said it before and I
1:46
said it again you push out every speaker
1:48
because you don't get a 100% of what you
1:50
want when you've got a TW vote majority
1:53
and again this is explained America I'm
1:55
going to explain politics here a little
1:56
bit you got a two-vote majority your Co
1:59
Coalition the Republicans does not stick
2:02
together they stomp their feet and and
2:04
push and pull to get their way different
2:06
factions of it so it's hard to get a
2:08
whole Coalition together unlike the
2:10
Democrats who walk lock step and do what
2:13
they're told this means that almost to
2:17
pass any legislation you're going to
2:19
have to get some democrat votes how do
2:21
you do that well you got to negotiate
2:23
and I don't care if you have if you have
2:24
speaker Jim Jordan I don't care if you
2:26
have speaker Elon Musk I don't care if
2:27
you have speaker Byron Donalds no matter
2:29
who your speaker is they're going to
2:31
have to make
2:33
deals and you're going to call them a
2:35
rhino when they do it too and you're
2:37
going to want them out and we'll have a
2:38
revolving door of speakers and we look
2:40
ridiculous to the American people get on
2:43
board elect Johnson if you want to
2:46
recall him in a month and and elect a
2:47
new speaker go ahead but let's
2:49
inaugurate Trump first then handle this
2:53
business guys I want you to watch this
2:55
video about it and let me know what you
2:56
think in the comments good place to get
2:58
out of this mess I think I hear clearly
3:01
what you hope what you expect from
3:03
speaker Johnson in order to to get your
3:06
vote but if he does not do what you want
3:09
him to do in order to earn your vote um
3:12
no one else has stepped up so it leaves
3:15
the House of Representatives with no
3:16
leadership for some protracted period of
3:18
time where Donald Trump is looking to be
3:20
inaugurated within a few
3:22
weeks well listen I think there are a
3:24
lot of other people are interested you
3:26
know but I think they don't want at this
3:27
point to go to speaker Johnson you know
3:30
and I think you know speaker Johnson
3:31
needs to have a serious conversation and
3:33
I hope he will be able to have that
3:35
conversation including with President
3:37
Trump and convince him because there are
3:39
few things also he didn't deliver for
3:41
president Trump too what he promised
3:43
just recently you know and he needs to
3:45
be able to convince the American people
3:47
that he able to do it and other members
3:49
so there are other people who but right
3:51
now you know no one wants to step up and
3:54
say well yeah you know Mike hasn't been
3:56
doing that great but you know we don't
3:58
want to since he's been so I think
4:00
that's
4:01
notable so I think that's notable if
4:03
you're telling us you know of other
4:05
individuals in Congress who would want
4:06
to put themselves up for
4:08
speaker yes they are of course you know
4:11
there's a lot of people probably you
4:12
know and I think that's a debate
4:13
deoration we have and I hope we have it
4:15
before January 6 this is unfortunate
4:18
that speaker Johnson is not willing to
4:20
have that deliberation with the members
4:22
that actually opposing him right now and
4:25
it's not just me there's much more
4:27
members a lot of people just really
4:29
afraid to say that sure uh so last
4:31
question for you then though if this
4:33
does not come together in a time frame
4:37
where it is something that happens
4:39
quickly and based upon history it has
4:40
not happened quickly this could be
4:42
something that interrupts the
4:43
inauguration of Donald Trump as
4:44
president of the United States it could
4:46
in fact mean as been pointed out by
4:48
Fox's Chad pergram that it becomes
4:51
interim the the the presidency flows to
4:53
Chuck Grassley currently of the Senate
4:55
if Donald Trump's not capably
4:57
inaugurated because there's no speaker
4:58
of the house is that something you're
5:01
prepared for in order for this fight
5:03
over speaker Johnson no it's not going
5:06
to happen we will have a speaker and
5:08
there are a lot of great people that be
5:09
willing to step up if speaker Johnson
5:11
can work with the members and convince
5:13
them I think most people just want to
5:15
have some courage and Leadership and
5:17
really him follows through some promises
5:19
that he didn't you know so I think that
5:22
if he doesn't want to do it then he
5:23
cannot govern this institution because
5:25
you can be a speaker but how you going
5:27
to govern if you don't have trust of
5:28
members and very tight majority you need
5:31
to work with people so we will have a
5:33
speaker I have no doubt about that and
5:35
we will have a good speaker but I think
5:37
speaker needs to have commitments to the
5:39
American people to deliver on the agenda
5:41
because if we legislate and govern
5:43
through executive orders it's going to
5:45
be very short leave all of these great
5:46
things that President Trump is trying to
5:48
deliver for the people okay well thanks
5:50
for explaining your point of view this
5:51
morning with this congresswoman thank
5:54
you thank you for having me
