0:34
out guys Matt Gates is the most
0:37
controversial pick that President Trump
0:39
has made him as attorney general has set
0:42
the Liberals a flame their hair is on
0:45
fire they're pulling the hair that isn't
0:47
on fire out of their heads they are
0:49
furious with this pick and I understand
0:53
it because if anybody's going to go
0:55
after the Deep State it's Matt Gates if
0:58
anybody's got scores to set it's Matt
1:00
Gates and if anybody's going to follow
1:02
president Trump's policies it's Matt
1:05
Gates that being said you know I've had
1:09
my issues with Mr Gates over the years I
1:11
didn't like what happened with McCarthy
1:14
I thought that that kind of stuff should
1:15
be handled behind the scenes not in
1:17
front of the cameras but all that being
1:19
said I think he'd make a fantastic
1:21
attorney general I think he's got the
1:24
legal pedigree to do it and the reason I
1:27
think he make a fantastic attorney
1:28
general isn't for any
1:30
reason that I think he's a great legal
1:32
scholar it's because I know he'll do
1:36
what the president wants and what I mean
1:37
by that it's not that the president's
1:38
going to lead the Department of Justice
1:40
that's on his job but that he knows the
1:42
president's agenda he knows his policies
1:45
and he'll follow them and that's what
1:47
you want from a nominee that's what you
1:49
want from a member of your cabinet to
1:50
follow your policies they didn't get
1:51
elected president you did well this one
1:55
political expert believes that yes Matt
1:57
Gates will get confirmed by the Senate
2:00
or he'll be get he'll get in on recess
2:03
appointment but either way Matt Gates is
2:05
going to be attorney general according
2:07
to this man and I tend to believe it I
2:09
want you to listen to what he has to say
2:11
and then let me know what you think in
2:13
the comments as you know Gates is
2:15
Trump's pick for attorney general he was
2:17
the subject of an Ethics Committee
2:18
investigation over whether he engaged in
2:20
sexual misconduct and illicit drug use
2:23
the committee was supposed to vote on
2:24
whether to release that report on Gates
2:26
today but now that Gates has resigned
2:28
from Congress the report has been scraft
2:30
what are your thoughts on Matt Gates can
2:32
he actually get confirmed or is or is it
2:36
not he's not getting confirmed and
2:38
everybody knows that look Matt Gates is
2:41
a brilliant legal mind Matt Gates will
2:45
he will be the uh left- wiing socialist
2:49
worst enemy when he I think he will get
2:51
confirmed Matt can handle himself he has
2:53
nothing to hide the doj dismissed all
2:55
the charges the political Witch Hunt and
2:57
Matt knows this the political Witch Hunt
3:00
uh on the ethics reports have been done
3:02
by house members and and we know who P
3:05
who pushed that against him he pushed
3:07
back doj dismissed it and so but he has
3:10
nothing to hide Matt Gates is a
3:12
tremendous pick you can trust what he
3:14
does and he's a risk taker which is good
3:17
and is what is what's needed in that
3:18
position okay that's that's good to have
3:21
to to hear from you because I know some
3:23
of your colleagues don't feel that way
