hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine
0:01
Savia 4 explain America and when it
0:04
comes to being a racist there may not be
0:06
a bigger one in Congress than
0:09
representative Jasmine Crockett before
0:11
we get started please make sure you like

0:34
you guys may remember representative
0:35
Jasmine Crockett from just a couple
0:37
weeks ago when she was attacking white
0:40
men in another fiery rant in Congress
0:43
and talking about Jim Crow and slavery
0:45
and oppression and you know talking
0:47
about how white men of today
0:50
basically need to pay a price for that
0:54
well
0:55
now this let me think of a nice word
0:58
think of a nice word dimwit
1:00
how's dimwit is that nice this
1:02
dimwit is ranting in Congress about oh
1:06
the Republicans added all these black
1:08
and brown voters but then they added two
1:10
white bodies to Congress so what you're
1:13
asking for then miss Crockett if I'm not
1:15
mistaken is you're asking for some
1:17
minority Republicans to step up and run
1:19
for office and get elected but heck
1:21
we're all for
1:22
that cuz that's your nightmare your
1:26
nightmare is that the people are going
1:28
to see that wait a second I don't have
1:29
to to be a Democrat there are
1:32
Republicans of color and there are but
1:35
it's also not the Republican party's
1:37
fault if none of them choose to run yet
1:39
give them some time they will and then
1:42
your nightmare will really come true
1:44
they'll be they'll be campaigning
1:46
they'll be in office but this racist
1:48
rant you went on today the second one in
1:51
a matter of 30
1:53
days yeah that should get you kicked out
1:56
of Congress you are a devout an abhorent
2:02
racist and you show it every time you
2:04
speak pretty much I want you guys to
2:07
watch this video and let me know what
2:08
you think in the comments it is
2:10
interesting that we're having this
2:12
hearing and I know one thing that I have
2:13
learned so far is that while freshman
2:16
orientation just ended we need a course
2:19
on what the census is for because we
2:21
have people sitting in Congress and have
2:22
no idea what the census is for and so I
2:25
do appreciate that you have talked about
2:28
what the funding is for but it seems
2:29
like my colleagues really want to zero
2:32
in on Southern States so let's talk
2:34
about Texas for a second um and let's
2:37
deal with them and their concerns about
2:39
their districts and let's also talk
2:41
about the citizen situation so uh I
2:45
don't know how much you've paid
2:46
attention to the election but we do have
2:48
an incoming Administration and we have a
2:51
border Zar who has said that they are
2:54
going to deport everyone that is here
2:58
and is not a citizen um they are
3:00
planning to do mass deportations in fact
3:02
in the state of Texas um our uh
3:05
commissioner has offered up land so that
3:08
they can put these camps there and send
3:10
people out of our country now if you
3:12
start asking people are you a citizen or
3:14
not and they're living in a home and
3:17
somebody's threatening to go in and raid
3:18
homes and take everybody out and send
3:20
them back to wherever they came from I
3:22
mean I would imagine that that may make
3:24
people say never mind I'm not going to
3:26
fill this out but I mean has that been
3:29
your finding or no uh we have we have
3:31
conducted research that shows that there
3:34
can be selective inclusion of
3:36
individuals who reside in a residence
3:38
because exactly because you've got the
3:40
federal government that is asking this
3:42
question and it's the same federal
3:43
government that is threatening to go and
3:45
yank people out of their schools their
3:47
homes and things like that and then we
3:48
just had a conversation where we were
3:50
talking about how many voters listen
3:52
when you're counting people you're not
3:53
just counting voters you count children
3:56
don't you correct you count a lot of
3:58
people that aren't necessarily Vo
4:00
and and I want to make sure that we we
4:03
really get to the nitty-gritty on Texas
4:05
cuz this is this is hilarious to me
4:08
Texas added two
4:10
seats in 2020 according to the censes
4:13
and we know that there was a significant
4:15
undercount um specifically in Texas for
4:17
a combination of reasons but we know
4:20
that specifically Texas added four
4:22
million people of those 4 million people
4:25
do you want to take a guess at how many
4:28
were anglos just a guess
4:30
I'd say a majority
4:33
180,000 that's it of 4 million 95% of
4:37
the people that were added and we know
4:40
that when it comes to minority
4:41
populations they tend to be undercounted
4:44
so get this we added four million people
4:47
they were people of color Texas got two
4:50
new seats so they took those black and
4:53
brown and Asian bodies and guess what do
4:56
you think that we got a new black brown
4:58
or Asian seat
5:00
somehow the way that they do their
5:02
Republican math in the state of Texas
5:04
that amounted to two new white seats
5:07
guess what white Republican seats we got
5:09
two new Republican seats out of four
5:12
million people of color so I let let me
5:14
tell you they they love to use our
5:16
bodies to a to apportion us in an
5:19
inaccurate way
