0:39
President Joe Biden's mind is these days
0:43
there 12 days left of his presidency
0:45
thank you
0:46
God Trump finally a real president's
0:49
coming back to office on January 20th
0:52
and in the
0:54
words in the words of former United
0:56
Nations Ambassador Nikki heli January
1:00
cannot come soon
1:02
enough President Biden stood with
1:04
California governor Gavin Newsome today
1:06
as one of the worst wildfires in
1:10
history ravaged the state of California
1:14
there are already four people who've
1:15
lost their lives countless people who've
1:18
lost their homes everything they've
1:21
worked for their entire
1:23
lives as This Fire Burns the last check
1:27
five football fields per minute
1:30
it is absolutely
1:34
devastating what did Joe Biden have to
1:36
say about
1:37
it you know he gave all the platitudes
1:39
and he said what you had to say and then
1:42
at the end of the press conference he
1:43
announced the good
1:45
news the good
1:47
news that he just became you know what
1:50
I'm not even going to I'm not even going
1:52
to tell you it was good personal news
1:54
from his life and it is good news
1:56
congratulations President Biden not the
1:58
right Forum to talk about
2:02
it I want you to listen to what he had
2:04
to say I want you to hear it with your
2:06
own ears and then let me know what you
2:09
think in the comments that made the
2:12
disaster declaration approve next level
2:15
of appreciation on behalf of all the
2:17
residents here in Southern California um
2:20
as the chief said we have prepositioned
2:22
assets uh this week in anticipation of
2:25
these weather events the complexity of
2:28
multiple fires of the lik these other
2:30
events this event continue en course the
2:33
next many days the impacts of over a
2:36
thousand structures already that destroy
2:39
plus thousand people uh that have been
2:41
evacuated lives lost uh Traditions
2:44
Lifestyles places Tor Su his speaks the
2:48
world to us and and just publicly
2:50
because I think it's important president
2:52
Happ to be in the region in town it's
2:55
impossible for me to express um the
2:59
level of appreci appreciation uh and
3:01
cooperation you Reed from the White
3:03
House in this Administration so back all
3:06
Mr thank you for being here but not just
3:08
being here today thank you for being
3:10
here since the minute of this incident
3:13
when there was a 10 acre fire less than
3:15
24 so hours ago of deep gratitude it's
3:18
astounding what's happened I uh with
3:21
only one piece of good news my son lives
3:23
out here in his wife they they got
3:26
notification yesterday their home was
3:28
probably burned in the ground today it
3:30
appears that may be still standing I'm
3:32
not sure but the good news is I'm a
3:35
great grandfather as of
3:39
today
3:41
granddaughter 10B 4 o baby girl baby boy
3:45
so I can remember this day for a lot of
3:48
wrong reasons anyway
3:55
[Applause]
4:09

4:13
from calfire
