0:33
bernie Sanders he's not known for being
0:37
a calm relaxed mellow type of guy bernie
0:42
is the kind of guy that gets on stage
0:43
and talks like this and he speaks real
0:45
loud and he talks about communism but he
0:48
doesn't call it communism because he
0:50
doesn't have the guts to call it
0:51
communism
0:52
that's a typical Bernie Sanders speech
0:55
very angry very agitated at people who
0:58
made this great country people who
1:00
invested millions sometimes billions of
1:03
dollars people who provide jobs because
1:05
Bernie Sanders has never really had a
1:07
job that was not in politics he's never
1:10
really had a job that wasn't paid for by
1:13
you and so because of that Bernie
1:16
Sanders doesn't really have
1:18
the what's the word I'm looking for here
1:20
the experience in life the understanding
1:23
of business and capitalism and you know
1:26
may the best rise to the top no no no
1:28
bernie Sanders thinks everybody should
1:29
get something for nothing that's the
1:32
whole basis of him and AOC and their
1:35
whole crackpot party therefore he
1:39
doesn't really take push back very well
1:40
even when it comes from a liberal host
1:43
he doesn't like tough questions he he
1:45
goes on your program he wants you to
1:47
give him softballs that he can then rant
1:50
and rave on and hit out of the park for
1:53
his crazy
1:54
base but he doesn't want to ruffle any
1:56
feathers especially that of his party
1:59
leader New York Senator Charles Schumer
2:02
so when he was asked one very simple
2:04
question by Jonathan Carl who absolutely
2:08
is a friend of the
2:09
Democrats well he just about stormed off
2:12
stage carl had to wrangle him back in
2:14
and it was a heated moment i want you to
2:16
take a look at this and let me know what
2:17
you think in the comments criticism of
2:20
Schumer has been harsher fueling
2:22
speculation she'll challenge him in the
2:24
Democratic primary when he is up for
2:26
reelection in 3 years for his part
2:28
Sanders doesn't want to talk about
2:30
whether or not Schumer should remain the
2:32
Democratic leader in the Senate and he
2:34
got irritated when I asked him about the
2:36
possibility of AOC running abruptly
2:38
getting up to end the interview okay
2:41
you're out there with AOC uh today do
2:43
you see her as a future of the
2:45
progressive we have one of the untold
2:47
stories yeah of what's going on in
2:49
current American politics is that in the
2:52
House of Representatives you have dozens
2:55
and dozens of strong smart disciplined
3:00
hardworking young people in the
3:02
progressive caucus and you know way back
3:05
when when I first came to the Congress
3:07
of the House I helped form the
3:09
progressive caucus we had five people in
3:11
it at that time now they got close to
3:13
100 so you got a whole lot of good
3:14
people alexandra is extraordinary uh I
3:18
am so impressed by her work in Congress
3:20
and her just she inspires young people
3:23
all over the country would you like to
3:24
see her join in the Senate i right now
3:26
we have as I said just a whole lot of
3:28
people in the Congress okay Jonathan
3:30
thanks wait I got one more i got one
3:32
more this is important no I ask you okay
3:34
you know you want to do nonsense do
3:35
nonsense no I I don't want to talk about
3:38
inside the beltway stop i got 32,000
3:40
people i was just asking you about AOC
3:41
because she was out there with you no
3:42
fine but I don't want to talk about this
3:44
what was the last question i was just
3:45
gonna ask you one more question about
3:46
you i mean that's all I was literally
3:48
your last What all right what What is
3:49
your question uh well I mean it's easier
3:51
if you
3:56
I mean I I I want to ask you about your
3:57
future this is the biggest crowd you
3:59
said you you ran for president twice
4:01
this is the biggest crowd you've ever
4:02
seen are we going to see you run again
4:04
or what what's your what's your future
4:06
right now I am very proud that the
4:09
people of the state of Vermont sent me
4:10
back to the Senate with 63% of the vote
4:13
right now I'm Vermont Senator that's
4:15
what I do and I'm very happy to do it i
4:17
am 83 years of age so and I'm tired
