Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Explain America
0:02
I'm your host Carmine Sabia. Folks, the Republicans have finally awoken from their slumber
0:10
and they're ready to take action against the Biden administration in the form of impeachment and it's been a long time coming
0:17
Before we get started, please remember to like, share, comment, and subscribe. Those little things really help our channel
0:24
out and help us continue to grow. Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas is ultimately the man responsible for the crisis at
0:32
the border. While Biden oversees everything, I mean to most of us, we believe he's just really a puppet. So Mayorkas is
0:40
responsible for this and Representative Emmer was speaking with Breitbart News when he said he is prepared to file impeachment
0:48
articles against Mayorkas this week. Also, Republican Representative Mark Green said he was prepared to file impeachment charges
0:59
this week. Emmer suggested that the administration is actually doing this on purpose. That this isn't just a failure to act
1:06
he said. It's an intentional failure to act. These are his words. He said the administration has blood on its hands after
1:13
a migrant child died in custody this week. Now Green said similar things and he actually said that the administration
1:20
was complicit in child abuse. Child abuse. These are significant serious charges. High crimes of the highest magnitude and absolutely
1:31
worthy of impeachment if these Republicans believe that this is what has taken place. But Mayorkas, he's kind of defiant
1:38
When he spoke to Dana Bash today, he said he really wasn't worried about impeachment. And after the clip, I'm going to tell
1:45
you why I believe that is. Let's take a look at it. I want to ask about something my next guest is going to say. This is
1:51
Republican Congressman Mark Green. He's the chairman of the Homeland Security Committee. He has indicated he wants to
1:58
impeach you for the way that you've handled the border crisis. Are you worried that that process is going to start and how
2:06
will you react? Dana, I am focused on the work in front of us
2:13
meeting the challenge, not only with respect to the southern border, but meeting the challenge of cyber, the cyber threat
2:22
from cyber criminals and adverse foreign nations states. I am focused on the increasing severity and frequency of extreme
2:31
weather events. I am focused on the adverse actions of the People's
2:36
Republic of China, North Korea, Iran, Russia. I am focused on the work of the Department of Homeland Security. I will continue
2:46
to focus on that work throughout my tenure. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, thank you so much for joining
2:53
me this morning. Thank you, Dana. Now under normal circumstances, if the government was running the way our founders intended
2:59
it to run, he would be and should be rightfully concerned about
3:04
impeachment because the way our founders intended it to run, the Congress and the Senate would oversee everybody. And if
3:12
somebody had a dereliction of duty, they would be removed. They didn't have these parties and things like that. I mean
3:18
they existed, but partisan politics was nothing like it is today. They had no way of knowing that parties would stick
3:25
together almost no matter what. Almost no matter what. I mean you saw it even in the impeachment of Donald Trump. Even with
3:33
senators who hated him, they wouldn't vote to impeach him or to remove him rather. And that's saying something. There was
3:41
enough senators there that hated him on the Republican side that they probably could have removed him. Based on nothing
3:46
don't get me wrong. I'm not saying he should have been removed. But if they wanted to, they could have. Bill Clinton
3:52
should have been removed for what he did. He lied under oath
3:55
He lied under oath. That's a high crime. But he wasn't removed. And it's an equal protection society because the
4:02
Uniparty kind of protects itself. Everybody's got dirt on everybody. And so it's not functioning the way our founders
4:08
intended it. It's a very corrupt. And that's unfortunate. But at least the message can be sent if Mayorkas is impeached
4:15
and I believe, fully believe, that President Joe Biden should be at the minimum impeached over what's happening at the
4:23
southern border. An absolute failure to secure our border. An absolute failure. A dereliction of duty. There are
4:30
streams of people coming in. The only thing that's stopping them, because you're going to hear this week, well, you know
4:35
after day one, the migrants really dropped. It dropped because a federal judge appointed by Donald Trump said
4:43
that the administration could no longer just parole and let the migrants go. And the administration is appealing that
4:48
decision. And if they are successful in appealing the decision, that changes things. The flood starts again. So, you know
4:57
nothing that's helping stem the tide of this migration crisis is coming from the Democrat side. Nothing. They should all
5:04
be impeached over this. Where's our border czar Kamala Harris? Where is she? She getting her nails done? What's going on
5:11
Borders are. What's she doing? What is she doing? Nothing. Nothing. They're all doing nothing to stop this. Oh, wait
5:20
No, they're doing something. They're spending your tax dollars to do nothing. That's what they're doing. Folks, again, I'm
5:27
Carmine Sabia. This is Explain America. Please remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe. We love you guys
5:34
God bless you. Take care, everybody. Bye
