It's about time somebody from the Omar family got arrested for something

I mean we all know about, I can't even talk about the scandal about how Omar may have gotten into

the country. Some people say that her brother helped and you guys know the story. I can't

talk about it because I can't, but you guys know the story. So fast forward, her daughter's at an

anti-Israel protest on Columbia University and not only does she get kicked out of her college

which is not Columbia University, she went from her college to Columbia to protest. What is she

protesting? She's protesting the war between Israel and Gaza. Well, maybe you should protest

to get the hostages back that Hamas has. Maybe you should protest about the assaults they committed

against women. Maybe you should protest about the innocent people they slaughtered, all backed by

Iran. We all know this, but that's not what she's protesting. She's protesting Israel defending

itself. The only country in the world that is continuously told not to defend itself when it's

attacked. And I'm glad sitting here today that Israel ignored Joe Biden and is continuing its

war with Gaza. I'm glad that it ignored Joe Biden and struck back against Iran because it's the

right thing to do. Remember, tell your kids about this Iranian regime. Tell your grandkids this is

the regime, the same regime that paraded around our hostages in 1979, just weeks before my second

birthday. They paraded our hostages. They humiliated us. It's the same regime. They hate America as much

or more than they hate Israel. Make no mistake about it. Well, not only was Omar's daughter

kicked out of school, she was arrested for her part in the protest. I want you to watch this

University. That's on Manhattan's Upper West Side. They had set up a tent city on campus

and among those busted is the daughter of far left Democrat, Ilan Omar. Joe Borelli

New York City Council Minority Leader, back with us in studio. Joe, good morning to you. The mayor

came out and said the rhetoric was vile on behalf of the protesters. We've seen a lot of that in

this city, especially over the past week. What do you think that is now? When I first saw the

videos of the protests from Wednesday night, I thought I was watching something from Tehran

or Ramallah. It turns out it was the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The mayor is right in this

regard. There is a very thin veil between folks coming out against the Israeli government for a

free state in Palestine and the anti-Semitism we're seeing on campus. I'm glad the president

of the school made the right call, but we should be clear that she made the right call because she

saw what happened to her colleagues after people in the House Republican Conference, namely Elise

Stefanik, put some pressure finally on these elite, these quote-unquote elite institutions

to finally address their anti-Semitism on their campuses. So Ilan Omar, she's a congresswoman

from Minnesota. Her daughter was arrested at Columbia. I think we have some pictures of that

In a way, I feel like that's what they wanted, right? They want, you want to do this and you

want some attention and now you have a record to prove it. But so that happened yesterday. Here

is an exchange that Ilan Omar had with the Columbia University president. This was just

on Wednesday. Watch here. Have you seen anti-Muslim protests on campus? I have seen, we have had pro-Israeli demonstrations on campus. No, no, no

Just a protest that was against Muslims. No, I have not. Have you seen one against Arabs

No, I have not. Have you seen one against Palestinians? No. Have you seen a protest

saying we are against Jewish people? No, I have, I have seen. Okay, thank you for that
