Vlookup Problems #6: Your Lookup Table Contains Duplicates - Vlookup Multiple Values

The Vlookup function returns information from the first record it finds. It cannot be used to return all occurrences of a value. If this is a problem, then you have two options. You may wish to remove the duplicates from the lookup table, or you may need to use a different Excel feature to return multiple values. In this video we start by looking at the Remove Duplicates feature to delete the duplicate values from the lookup table, or table array. This feature can be tailored to effectively locate duplicates based on criteria. We then explore using a PivotTable to lookup multiple values. This video serves as just a glimpse into what a PivotTable can do, and focuses on achieving our objective.
