HAIKU
Darkness, and what stays
Falls too close to the heart-Poor
enough for beggars
My tears have failed me-
Brushed off like so much laughter,
My breath leaps before.
Gandy dancers sing,
the iron is forced to obey
their undying song.
Entering wisdom
Is the first sign of passion,
And love's last gamble.
