Download our android app for job oriented courses https://clpsheldon.page.link/x3kb In this tutorial i have explained briefly about the estimation of footing concrete, the shuttering area required and the Bitumen paint area calculation for RCC footing. I have fully explained the excavation process for footing with 3d animation. This topic is about quantity surveying of sub structure Quantity surveying topics compiled PDFs πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ» http://store.civiltutorofficial.com/ Subscribe 2nd channel πŸ‘‡πŸ» @Civil Tutor Official In order to do the calculation for footing at the construction site we need to follow some basic steps. The first step is to do the excavation process in which we need to dig a pit for the foundation. After levelling the bed properly, an anti termite powder is applied on the bed surface followed by a polythene covering on which PCC bed is laid. The polythene covering acts as a barrier between concrete and soil mass. If we don't apply the polythene covering the soil would absorb the water from concrete as a result, the concrete would lose it's strength. So to maintain the strength of concrete polythene sheets are laid before the application of PCC bed. After laying the PCC bed, the next step is to cast the footing followed by raising the column above the footing. The surfaces of the column and footing are coated by Bitumen paint up to the ground level. The purpose of application of this paint is to protect the material of column and footing (concrete and steel) from the moisture content present in the backfill. After watching the complete tutorial you will know; How to calculate the quantity of materials required for building construction
