0:02
hello walkers and welcome to sacramento california uh i didn't plan on doing this walk but
0:09
here we are we're on a family trip and uh we had an hour to spare
0:16
and so here we are in sacramento the capital of california it's a friday about 11 a.m
0:23
it's 75 degrees fahrenheit and i can't remember what that is in
0:30
celsius hold on just a second here 24 degrees
0:35
uh and as i said we are in sacramento the capital of
0:41
california sacramento is about well let me just say first that since i didn't plan this i
0:47
didn't do any research which i barely do any research anyway so we're just pretty much going to wander
0:53
around and see what we can see it seems to be downtown we're gonna try and
0:58
make our way over to the waterfront historic waterfront as well um but we'll see where we end up
1:06
uh it is of course um coveted times and i'm not exactly sure
1:12
what the mask requirements are here but i'm wearing one anyway this is absolutely beautiful capital
1:18
grounds here love all these big massive trees a lot of different species
1:23
shady green well kemp'd so well kempt well kept
1:33
i did do a little bit of wiki research here uh before i started and that's
1:40
told me a few things one sacramento is about 500 000 people
1:48
last census um and it's one of the fastest growing
1:54
cit large cities in california the ninth largest uh state capital
1:59
[Music] it consists of a hundred square hundred point one square miles
2:06
and if i get in these wrongs please correct me on anything that you see that i make an error uh
2:12
add in stuff that i miss i appreciate those in the comments below uh and uh any personal stories or
2:20
anecdotes or things you know about sacramento that i don't i'd love to hear about those
2:26
so i'll call stuff out as i see it but again i don't really know a lot so i
2:33
don't want to just make stuff up it's a very beautiful
2:38
and quiet city one of the things i've noticed is a lot of
2:44
light rail and in that i really i love seeing that in a city
2:50
public transportation of course in the time of a pandemic
2:55
it's not uh sorry i'm just in my mass public transportation is probably not
3:02
the most popular form right now
3:08
give you where we are uh l street and i think 10th
3:15
uh i'm gonna cross over
3:21
and we're walking along l right now
3:28
it's like starbucks has been boarded up i don't know why that is some other storefronts are boarded
3:43
another thing you may notice probably can't tell is uh the amount of forest fire smoke here
3:52
we're not that far from san francisco uh 100 200 miles something like that
4:00
and uh the fires a lot of the fires are north of here and west of here
4:10
[Music] and so it's really smoky although apparently it's been much worse in the past
4:16
week or two uh the weather is nice it's muggy and humid
4:22
but that's what you get when you're not in the mountain states these old buildings
4:32
kind of cool i'm using a dji osmo pocket
4:38
with a very cheap vertical axis stabilizer
4:44
and so we'll see how well that works the camera is great the axis stabilizer
4:50
is uh still haven't gotten it so that i i like it very much
4:58
a lot of this uh capitol building is uh
5:06
fenced off here i don't know if that's to do with protests or what the rules are about access
5:16
this old building that's pretty cool
5:24
see if i can figure out what that is
5:40
i think this building over here is the senator hotel
5:52
just gonna walk around actually we're gonna go up here to 12th and make a left because i saw the
5:59
hints of a cool church and we'll uh see what we find over there
6:06
looks like a nice park up here as [Music]
6:19
i'm well to walk through that park but we have a limited amount of time uh before i have to be back
6:32
so we'll make a left here on 12th oh caught the light
6:41
this is over here the hyatt regency hotel uh being the capital there's a lot of
6:48
governmental corresponding business
6:54
a lot of lobbying and think tanks and a couple universities uc davis is
7:00
outside of town or in town i'm not sure and you see i think
7:07
there's another uc sacramento or something like that
7:15
love the mix of uh classic old uh
7:22
architecture and new modernist architecture although
7:27
some of the modern stuff isn't that great going by the hyatt regency parking
7:32
garage i've seen a lot of stuff boarded up
7:38
uh i assume it might have something to do with the protests but i don't know what the situation is
7:43
here uh across the way is the cathedral building that blueish building
7:49
and on the right here is the koa room which looks like a uh restaurant and
8:08
looks like to the right here on k street might be a pedestrian area
8:16
but we are going to go down this side see if we can oh yeah look
8:23
there's a cathedral i'll try to look that up real quick
8:40
[Music] because cathedral of the blessed
8:46
sacrament is what i'm getting um sacramento of
8:51
course is named for the sacrament of the eucharist i say that of course
8:58
because a traveling male read that out of the wikipedia entry um it's not obvious at all
9:07
love these the way they've made these uh public transit access points
9:14
makes things a little bit easier for folks
9:21
this looks like the csac california association california state association of counties
9:30
again one of those either lobbying organizations or governmental organizations
9:36
so very cool mule mural here
9:48
looks like an impromptu one so i'm gonna uh s talk over this music
9:56
for a second hopefully this train will uh drown it out more than i can
10:02
the bell and the traffic sounds
10:08
it's a pretty nice building right here as well not sure which one that is
10:16
you can see the boarded up buildings i mean windows there's a better look of the cathedral
10:23
an interesting building beyond it says 1895. let's see if i cross here
10:34
we'll go take a look at that as i mentioned we're going to wander around downtown
10:51
i've gotten a lot of comments about oh hold on oblivion comics and coffee
10:58
boarded up i attempted to go in there um although i'm not going in anywhere
11:04
right now honestly um
11:10
what was i gonna say oh oh looks like a fire down there not sure what i was talking about
11:20
i'm so easily distracted
11:40
so well i don't know what this building is
11:47
says uh bpoe which is uh think of eagles
11:55
brotherhood something of eagles but i'll pan up to show you
12:04
sort of a neat old early 20th late 19th 1895
12:10
the claim jumper restaurant oh this is kind of nice too look at that mural down there
12:17
on that old building it's pretty sweet and of course you've got the requisite
12:22
palm trees down on this direction and uh that's a pretty sweet old
12:28
building as well i'm not gonna go down that direction because
12:34
it's all kind of closed off for construction and in the end it's not really where i want to go anyway
12:40
i'm going to head back this way towards the capitol and head towards the river sacramento as you
12:46
may or may not know is at the confluence of the american and the
12:54
sacramento rivers uh the history of this dates back to the early 1800s
13:00
late 1700s of course the spanish were here when they had colonized the area and
13:08
um you may have heard of sutter's mill and sutter was a
13:16
spanish citizen from originally from switzerland and uh he settled in this area started a
13:24
fort started trading and of course at sutter's mill they had that 1849 gold
13:30
strike which is so famous um
13:36
a little history there i was going to say i think that i've had a lot of comments a lot several
13:44
comments recently about
13:50
keeping the camera steady and straight for people on treadmills versus uh showing stuff for the right and left
13:59
i'm gonna apologize for this construction sound up here and i'm airing on the side of showing
14:05
more [Music] just because i think it's part of the
14:10
appeal for this area if let me know your thoughts below on that
14:15
that's the ambrosia room over there pizza rock looks like a pizza place i guess
14:23
and then this is nash and proper i don't know what that is uh
14:32
looks like a concert venue up here across from the family fitness
14:41
and uh empress tavern [Music]
14:48
or the crest theater it's like uh
14:54
a theater venue looks awesome i love these uh old cedar venues and uh
15:02
the kind of 1920s 1930s design elements
15:17
we're on k again and we're coming up on [Music]
15:33
there's that uh other building i mentioned by iverson barbershop i'm gonna
15:45
love those old 19th century buildings as much as this these art deco style buildings
15:53
like that theater back there
16:15
this is the golden rice bowl which looks like a chinese restaurant
16:26
i would have thought there had been more uh foot traffic down here at this time
16:31
even with the pandemic but i guess a lot of people are learning to work from home i'm sure these restaurants are
16:39
getting hit hard by that change
16:51
lots of little uh mom and pop type restaurants we passed of course a couple really
16:56
fancy ones as well i'm sure there's a lot of money that flows through this town
17:05
there's a rite aid [Music]
17:11
i think i'm gonna go down another block here
17:21
how you doing sorry man yeah that's got to be tough for people
17:29
with the lack of cash these days [Music]
17:42
okay over here you have the in the distance you have the u.s bank building and you can see the uh
17:50
painted wall for hotel berry b-e-r-r-y looks like a classical building so we
17:56
might just walk over that way coming up on eighth and k
18:16
looks like we got some other people shooting video up here
18:24
always makes me a little self-conscious
18:34
[Music] got a train coming
19:02
love this mural over here in this uh restaurant it's called solomon's
19:12
very cool very uh colorful and intricate patterns there
19:19
talk over some of the music they're playing though so that we don't get hit with uh
19:24
youtube's copyright filter [Music]
19:58
it's interesting to see this central downtown area and the variety
20:06
of housing options and buildings oh that's a pretty one down here too
20:13
like almost like joan of arc down there at the end of the alley lots of public artwork but there's a
20:18
variety of buildings that you would have thought would have been bought up and renovated
20:24
and uh basically erased and yet
20:30
there's seems to be some cheap and affordable housing downtown in
20:36
certain areas that i passed earlier before i started filming we're passing the hotel berry right now
20:50
maybe i'll point some out when i see them i think we will see them as we cross over capitol street
20:56
we're crossing l here by hustle
21:03
this really is a beautiful city at least this part of it i'm sure you know it has its downsides
21:12
but for now i love all these big trees i know i say that a lot but
21:18
having some nature in with the high density of people
21:24
really to me makes a huge psychological difference it should be a pretty essential part of
21:30
any city design if you want to make your city livable anyway
21:37
i know it's not cheap it takes a long time and a lot of forethought but man it sure does make a difference
21:50
as we come up here on capitol street i'll i'll pan left to show you another view
21:55
of the capitol building
22:01
and of course you can see the light rail tracks here along the street as well which is kind of cool and
22:07
here comes another train that's uh such an efficient
22:15
way of getting a good good system a well-designed system is a really efficient way of getting people around
22:22
uh relatively cheaply uh i mean if you can consider in the
22:29
cost of owning a vehicle all the maintenance and oil changes and fuel and insurance and stuff there's a
22:35
capital building again uh and
22:41
for uh hold on i'm gonna pan right here i'm not sure that's a
22:47
bridge of some sort i don't know if it's a footbridge or not [Music]
23:02
i don't know if i can get over there but we're gonna head this way and uh we'll head down that direction
23:09
because there's at least one more uh two more buildings i want to show you
23:16
and one is up here on the corner and that's before we cross over
23:22
to the old waterfront
23:27
i mentioned that it's built on the confluence of the american and sacramento rivers what i
23:35
didn't mention i don't think is the um propensity for flooding that it's had
23:42
historically and they've since built up a lot of levees and dikes and that sort of thing from what i understand
23:47
um to mitigate that but a lot of those are aging out now and need
23:54
a lot of work uh to maintain that they have the reserve a huge amount of space
24:01
outside of the city is a flood plain so that water has somewhere to go other than downtown
24:13
let's see if i can look up what this old victorian building is
24:22
the leland stanford mansion state historic park so stanford you've heard of the
24:27
university i'm sure he was one of the guys that
24:32
hit it rich here and i don't exactly know how he hit it rich i don't remember what
24:40
industry it was i think it was probably supplying minors or else real estate or something
24:46
it was very powerful man powerful family and that's a very fancy house to prove
24:52
it we are on 8th street right now
25:01
i think we just crossed we just crossed n street and we're headed up to o and we'll make
25:21
pan over to show you another view of this mansion beautiful victorian 19th century
25:27
building [Music] next to this dark
25:39
probably predates that quite a bit but i was referring to the movie i think um more old mission style building over
25:54
a little bit of a breeze hopefully that's not going to be too loud on the microphone [Music]
26:07
this is 8 and 0. a lot of construction going on here
26:15
[Music] looks like oh doesn't go all the way down
26:21
oh and here's another interesting old victorian home
26:29
or house go over that way
26:36
i was uh promoting light rail as public transport
26:42
and uh this sure is um sure was
26:50
handy and useful and just made getting around easily does in europe most recently i
26:57
was thinking of vienna you hop the buses and the trams and go
27:03
just about anywhere in the city not sure what building that is
27:15
that is i don't know what that is it's not
27:22
coming up on the google maps so
27:29
it looks like oh street doesn't really go through so we will go back to
27:36
in after we cross sorry
27:54
really is just a beautiful leafy city in this park
28:01
we came down off of the sierra nevada's from reno and it was dry and smoky
28:09
with a lot of um let's say dry and smoky smoky but the a lot of the leaves look like late summer
28:15
burnt not fire burnt but um just dried up prone to fire maybe
28:23
up higher where the ponderosa pines a lot of beautiful ponderosa pine park land that was really beautiful
28:31
um and uh then we come down here and it's humid
28:38
and uh almost forested and all these beautiful mature trees
28:46
i'll try to stop harping on that here's one of these apartment areas you know two or three
28:52
blocks from the capitol and a two level apartment complex that
29:00
i have no idea what the rates are but they don't look like they're that expensive
29:11
i'm gonna make a left on n
29:19
you know this is sort of a suburban style apartment complex
29:28
i would have guessed it would have been bought up and a skyscraper put on top of it
29:34
[Music] and maybe it will maybe it's uh
29:42
in line for that on somebody's planning
30:43
so over on capitol street i think is called the capitol mall and uh similar to the mall in washington
30:51
dc which is more of a park than what i would refer typically think of as a mall being a shopping center
30:59
that's probably a newer interpretation of that
31:31
coming up on n and fifth street and across the way sorry
31:38
behind that tree is the wells fargo center
31:52
wherever you find government you find
31:58
banks and there's a macy's a few other stores
32:06
you can see down here how leafy these trees are how sylvan
32:14
the streets that's right i said sylvan
33:11
coming up on fourth it's just like uh another apartment building called
33:16
governor square and again i mean i don't want to
33:22
besmirch the residents of governor square but it doesn't look like it's high end
33:29
it's pretty typical mass-produced
33:36
housing which is nothing wrong with that i just uh surprised us here in the midst of
33:48
it looks perfectly nice but you right next to 50 story buildings 30
33:56
story buildings a little uh a little surprising
34:04
here's uh somebody a lyft driver looks like they've had their they and uber are
34:10
having a big legal battle with the state of california over
34:16
the employment status of their drivers
34:22
which i can sort of empathize with both sides of that from what i know of the argument
34:33
okay coming up on third we're gonna make a left here and then a right on though and we'll
34:38
show you the crocker museum crocker art museum another we're not gonna go inside but
34:44
another uh beautiful old building classic i think
34:49
it's called victorian style although it looks slightly different with the
34:54
roof lines to me i don't quite know enough about architecture to
35:00
to know the different names and styles um but
35:06
they are beautiful and ornate so i'm going to call them uh victorian
35:15
correct me in the comments below if you haven't done if you know better and can uh inform everybody
35:22
share with everybody uh uh the style
35:29
this sign here has a bunch of museums old walker sacramento waterfront uh when i was melinda my traveling mel
35:38
was uh reading out the wikipedia article to me as we drove into town she was listing out all the various
35:45
museums and there are a lot that's pretty cool
35:51
in my mind you know we homeschool our kids and we travel the world and
35:56
museums are a great way to learn and get the lowdown on a place and all kinds
36:04
of different stuff so we we enjoy those a lot
36:14
okay third and o we're going to cross over here
36:22
and see this building
36:39
not sure what the story is on that either what the uh if it's a family
36:46
old family home or something else surely that was a residence at some
36:52
point and this had this uh modern cement
36:59
section added on and then even more modern across the alley up here
37:30
must have been a nice place to live back in the day of course you can smell the boxwoods
37:36
here too love the smell of boxwoods
37:41
and then here's a much more modern section
37:49
all right we're gonna come up on oh this is second street and then we're gonna cross i think it's
37:57
uh i believe it's interstate five i5 the five as they say here
38:06
yeah we're going to cross over that to the old sacramento and waterfront area
38:13
hopefully if i've navigated us appropriately
38:19
if i followed uh traveling mel's directions that she read off to me appropriately then we
38:32
uh when we looked down the capitol mall earlier we saw those yellow maybe so notice those yellow uh bridge
38:38
stanchions that's where we are uh university of san
38:44
francisco down there in the nbc suites hotel of course uh california traffic
38:50
[Music] take another look down here
39:23
[Applause] [Music] okay is the corner of oh and front street
39:34
some more light rail tracks over there
39:58
and then the sacramento river down here there's a whole delta system
40:08
downstream it's apparently a really cool ecosystem oh look it's traveling mel in her crew
40:16
scooting scooting it's my wife and kids
40:26
so we're going to continue on to old sacramento which is from what i understand um
40:37
uh sort of a historical and rebuilt historical area kind of a recreation of the way
40:44
it was back in the 1800s
40:50
so we'll see what they have to offer down there including at least in normal times in the before
40:55
times uh historical reenactors
41:17
looks like these are old sycamore or young sycamore trees i one of the things i've noticed about
41:22
the trees and i know i thought i was going to stop harping on that is the diversity of tree species here
41:30
it's not just old oaks or old elm trees there's a lot of palm trees and
41:35
a lot of different hardwoods and soft woods it's pretty cool
41:49
looks like it's a an old drawbridge that old style uh
41:59
management or office or uh operational structure on top of the middle there
42:19
over to the right is the embassy suites again the tower bridge bistro restaurant
42:47
i love this old style iron work the rivets exposed
43:08
i don't know how much is actually going to be open in the old sacramento area
43:14
but we'll get to take a look at least [Music] this is tower bridge i guess and i think
43:21
this is capitol street that we're coming up upon
43:51
off to the right is the capitol building at the end again
44:25
and uh up here you can see some of these old uh wooden structures
44:31
in this old wooden boardwalk
44:44
so there's off there's some straight ahead some off to the right so what i'm gonna do is continue down here for ways
44:50
and then we'll uh maybe we'll loop back and see what those old buildings are all
44:57
about joe's crap sorry joe's crab shack here
45:07
kind of wonder how much of this is historic and how much of it is actually just
45:12
uh t-shirt shops and knick knackeries and all sorts of uh
45:18
sugar and spice and colors and airbrush stuff as i talk over that music being played
45:24
over the loudspeaker
45:30
oh geez more music or the loudspeaker i may have to
45:36
just drop out my audio here
46:23
looks like they have an old paddle wheeler maybe you're a steam ship take a look real quick
46:39
i assume that's a functioning sternwheeler
46:44
although there seems to be some growth on a few of the paddles
46:51
be a fun way to take a tour of the river
47:01
[Music] there's some old steam engines on
47:14
this is turning into a longer walk than i expected hope that's okay for everybody i know
47:20
different people like different lengths i guess you could always pause it and come back later
47:27
if it's not long enough
47:32
wow this is a mammoth steam engine santa fe 5021
47:42
this thing must weigh an epic amount of mass
47:49
i know my grammar's off on that look at the construction look at all the rivets and bolts
47:58
i bet that was hot work look at that thing
48:03
those wheels are approximately i would say four and a half feet in diameter
48:34
looks like this path continues on along the river but we're going to cut over i think
48:39
uh well are we are we though actually i think we're going to continue on
48:46
uh past this uh engine house i guess
48:59
[Music] got a little wave there yeah
49:04
we'll go down one more block then we'll cut over
49:12
plus we're in the shade here a lot more big steam engines over there
49:20
oh and a nice little water side area down here
49:26
looks like we're gonna skip that for now
49:36
i think these are oak trees maybe
49:41
and then this is maybe a sycamore coming up
49:54
see that a nice little park that is
49:59
the cement uh edifices are broken up but it's clean and cool
50:14
[Music] coming up here on the right is a sacramento history museum
50:20
uh my assumption is it's closed but it could be open i'll check looks like it's got a round house in one
50:25
end or part of a round house where they uh or a switching yard
50:32
if you know the difference please let me know i'm not really sure
50:52
so i think it's safe to assume this building has been rebuilt
50:59
but it looks like a few of these others are pre-existing i mentioned earlier the flooding i think
51:05
early sacramento have a big problem with that getting uh ravaged by floods
51:12
but i do love these old style uh storefronts and boardwalks
51:21
and uh it looks like the museum is
51:43
definitely not a busy time for uh ye olde sacramento
51:51
tucked in here between interstate 5 and the sacramento river here's the off the left is the uh
51:59
california state railroad museum sorry i just hit the uh mic gonna take a picture of this
52:05
storefront here [Music]
52:13
it's kind of fun definitely i definitely love the aspect of these
52:20
places of uh inspiring the imagination of what it must have been like here
52:27
to live here uh what 200 years ago no 150 years ago
52:47
here we're getting into the uh tourism infrastructure
52:53
fun little uh place to eat outside down there looks like although not really big into restaurants
53:01
right now i know they're having a hard time i just don't feel comfortable personally
53:07
yet i'm gonna cross over here sorry about the swerving um just so
53:15
i can show you the front of this buildings
53:23
and then i'm gonna cross back since you see what it looks like and we'll go get a closer look
53:44
here's the t-shirt shop that we were all waiting to see
53:51
so there's that coming up is a river city saloon with a
54:02
i guess sacramento was both was the terminus for both the pony express and the transcontinental railroad
54:10
all right and i see a pony express statue off the left here
54:18
across the street i believe that's what that is
54:23
there's a restaurant bar lounge
54:48
we're at second and j street right here we're gonna cut down this way
54:57
take a look there's a saltwater taffy shop across
55:03
the way it's called munchies
55:14
and there's pioneer park crossover take a look at that watch your step
55:31
some old columns and that sort of thing not the nicest of parks at the moment
55:51
[Music] so i'm going to have to talk a little bit more as we go through this musical
55:58
explosion here people are sitting outside the brandon manor a local pond eating some food maybe
56:06
getting some beers across the way is the scallop family jewelers tahoma block kahama block and uh fat city bar and
56:14
cafe it's always a challenge to keep talking uh
56:20
while we walk past that music but it's a little easier than coming back later
56:25
and uh trying to edit it out oh sorry about that
56:54
we must be on front street again we've seen the trains
57:16
coming up is the what cheer house interesting name for a place
57:23
the building it's interesting also you can see the the skyscrapers poking up beyond the
57:36
over here you have uh california steamers
57:42
sorry steam navigation companies and then you have a fish market etc
57:51
and the stage inn i guess is what that is we're gonna keep going down we're gonna
57:57
make a left here on k street past steamers coffee
58:03
it's an appropriate name for a coffee shop down here the steam engine steam and steam boats i think is the
58:09
word i'm looking for and you've got a of course a
58:16
a bunch of eateries and
58:23
stuff what am i looking for souvenirs that's the word i'm looking for
58:44
sock city fun sock boutique that is a narrow niche
58:52
we got a lot of socks though so maybe they're doing all right river city shooting gallery that's
59:00
interesting and if that's for real
59:07
looks like electronic shooting
59:12
coming up on second again in the ever-present interstate 5. it's interesting to see
59:19
that a lot of these buildings have been boarded up as well
59:24
i'm a little surprised to think that there would be protests down here but maybe the historical aspect of it
59:33
makes it more significant more symbolic place to demonstrate historic
59:43
racism of our system of our history
59:58
i've been seeing a lot of other walking channels as i go through and i subscribe to a
1:00:04
bunch of them because i like to watch and explore other cities as i'm sure many of you do as well and
1:00:10
i've been envious of all the folks in places like london
1:00:15
and paris and uh prague and amsterdam
1:00:22
uh i know they are dependent on tourism and a lot of businesses are
1:00:27
really hurting right now but as a tourist as a person who likes
1:00:32
to travel around and see places i am so envious of the lack of crowds
1:00:39
similar to what we're experiencing here today but in you know paris in london
1:00:46
and prague and amsterdam et cetera et cetera et cetera um you know if you've traveled to those
1:00:54
places in the last few years you can i mean paris is basically just a theme park where you spend most your day in
1:01:00
lines [Music] it's still an incredibly beautiful city
1:01:05
but sure would be nice to have it almost to yourself i'm sure a lot of
1:01:12
people uh are enjoying a bit of a respite
1:01:23
not to of course underestimate or understate the impacts of covid on those places
1:01:37
wow we're at almost we're over an hour now it's the first time i've gone over an hour in a long time
1:01:44
i think partly because i was thinking about this earlier i think partly because i tend to do um
1:01:52
a full day of filming now i go out and i'll drive around to a bunch of towns around
1:01:57
uh montana or you know i'll take a day when we're in oregon uh
1:02:02
check those videos out and uh just go film off by myself for a while and so
1:02:10
to do you know four walks is four hours as opposed to two or three hours for the shorter
1:02:16
versions um but it's kind of nice as well to
1:02:22
have the luxury or the mandate to go for a full hour i hope you guys
1:02:29
[Music] oh the bridge is up let's go take a look at that that's kind of cool i didn't think that
1:02:35
it would be really operational but i guess i don't see why it wouldn't
1:02:40
looks like people are maybe coming off a boat let's go see if we can see it come down
1:02:50
maybe they were just watching it
1:03:10
and we're gonna hopefully make it down here
1:03:16
this might be a place to go see tour
1:03:28
boats there you go you can just barely see it coming back down to the bottom
1:03:43
that's pretty cool to see that old thing working still i wonder if it's automated or manual
1:03:51
let me know if you know uh and i think we're going to call it here at 64 minutes i want to thank you guys for
1:03:58
joining us today's walk through sacramento's capital area

1:04:16

1:04:22
hopefully i'll get a couple in so check those out and of course i'll be filming again when we get back to
1:04:28
montana i've got some ideas of little towns around there a lot of you have enjoyed seeing the
1:04:33
smaller towns of montana and some of the nature trails as well so thanks again for joining us we will see
1:04:39
you next time in the meantime happy walking
