Monzo and Revolut are changing the game with their plans to build “super apps”. For Revolut, this has included the launch of its hotel booking platform “Stays” in 2021, its crypto network in 2024 and mobile services in 2025. Now, Monzo has hopped on the mobile market ship with confirmation that the group is exploring plans to offer phone services. Consumers have responded to this with open arms, with Monzo boasting over 13 million users and Revolut recently surpassing banking giant HSBC with over 50 million customers globally.
