Nvidia PhysX System Software: What Is It & Do I Need it?

PhysX was initially introduced to the world with Mafia II back in 2010. To give you some background info; PhysX was made by a different company, Ageia, and actually used to be a separate card for processing physics in games. Similar to GPU and CPU, it was named PPU (Physics Processing Unit).
