Word 2010 Features

One thing I like in Office 2010, especially in Word 2010, is recent items

So here is an I have opened Word 2010 here. And if you click on file, what you will see

There are few things have changed which in the beginning like when you start working with

the Word 2010 you may find some of the things annoying. but eventually once you get used to it what you will find is they are very

handy features so one thing I especially like is if you go to file what happens

is when I write these articles a lot of times I just don't remember where I

saved it and where actually you know my older version is and so if you look at

click on file file menu item here you'll see recent in recent

And before that, you may want to see how nice it looks

Like look wise, everything is really changed. So if you click on recent, you will see recent documents right here

And this not only tells you here, you can also see there's a recent folders where you

have visited. So this is a really useful feature. And you can even pin them from here right there to your, you know, desktop or, you

know to your task bar so this was one of the major feature I really liked it and

then one other thing I like if you go to print if you go to print remember if you remember their print dialogue used to come where you used to select different options blah blah blah blah here as soon as you click print here this print button is actually printed

and basically printer settings and printer properties are right here and then if you look

at click on this it's going to send a printer but let's go back to print again you can pick

any options here these are printer settings printer properties and then let's let's

open in different I'm going to open different documents so go to here I'm

going to open this document so this is one article I was working on recently now

let's go to print option now as you can see by default the print previews

automatically available right there and then you know you can check all the

details it tells you how many pages you got and then from here you can see all

the settings you can see print all pages you can select different options

print current page print all page print custom range and then you can have your

both sides one side you can have what size you want you know various size what kind

of paper you want to use and then you can apply margins

here and you can have so so far I'm really kind of liking word 2010 so I thought I

really don't write articles on this office just usability but I thought these are

really cool features and I should actually share with you guys I hope you find

these useful
