Wings World Rising from the Ashes after the Warehouse Fire

This video tells the story of Megan Wing, founder of Wings World, a sustainable clothing business she built over six years in memory of her late father, Peter Wing. Starting from her mother’s living room, Wings World grew into a thriving community, saving over 10 tonnes of clothing from landfill each month through £1 live auctions, affordable events and charity fundraisers. After finally moving into a warehouse at Oxgate House, Staples Corner, tragedy struck on 11 June 2026 when one of London’s largest warehouse fires destroyed everything. Attended by 155 firefighters and 25 fire engines, the fire claimed all stock, equipment and irreplaceable memorabilia belonging to Megan’s father, just days before the warehouse was due to open to the public.
