Script: Are you someone who is working a full-time job but also looking to one day earn an MBA? But, the challenge is to find the time to effectively study for the GMAT while working a full-time job. If this is your first time seeing my face, hi, my name is Cameron Galbraith and I work in finance here in New York City. I graduated from the University of Florida last April and am currently studying for the GMAT. But don't worry, in today’s video, I will share 4 tips to help you successfully balance your work and GMAT study time to ensure that you get the score you’re looking for. So let’s get into it. The first and foremost step to successfully studying for the GMAT while working full-time is to create a schedule. It's important to create a schedule that works for you and your daily routine. This schedule should include all of your work commitments and the time you plan to dedicate to studying each day. Make sure to set realistic goals for yourself and stick to the schedule as much as possible. Creating a schedule will help you manage your time more efficiently and ensure that you don't miss out on your study goals. And your schedule and daily commitment to the GMAT will depend on your test date. Obviously if your test date is 3 months away, your daily work dedicated to GMAT studying is going to look a bit different than if the test were a month away. But I can’t tell you enough just how important it is to incorporate structure into your daily routine. So set that test date and plan your weeks out accordingly. As a full-time employee, your lunch break is a valuable time that can be used to study for the GMAT. You can use this time to read a few pages of a study book, practice a few sample questions or even watch a video tutorial. This will help you make the most out of your time and stay on track with your study goals.
