### Garlic Mashed Potatoes
**Ingredients:**
- 2 pounds potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work well), peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/2 cup whole milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
**Instructions:**
1. **Cook the potatoes and garlic:** In a large pot, add the potatoes and garlic. Cover with cold water and add a generous pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
