Video: Watch the HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD Toronto Cast Say Goodbye

First day of rehearsals and the first read-through of the script. I remember

feeling surrounded by so much talent and just feeling so excited to watch this

production come to life. The first time I saw the theater we were introduced it

was a big kind of reveal and when that that screen from the stage just lifted

the cast it was electric. I'll never forget finishing that opening performance and getting back to the dressing room with Thomas and both of us

just like wordlessly just hugging because it felt like we'd come through

this huge thing together. Harry was getting his wand during the final

battle dropped it and then reached down into the audience for someone to hand up

his wand and someone handed them their personal elder wand. The crowd erupted and

finished the battle with the audience's wand. To be a part of a production this big and having it be Harry Potter which I

was a fan of from before is it was one of those moments where it's like I'm

like I'm actually kind of doing what I want to do with my life and it was like

just like a really great exciting moment. Every day when you're kind of coming into work and you see families walking

down the street and they're wearing their robes or they've got their house scarves getting a chance to perform for them seeing them in the front row it

just it just fills your heart with so much joy. There's some people who have

seen this show like over 20 times and to know that they love it that much and

that we've made an impact on their life is huge. I'm working with some amazing Canadian actors that this early on in my career

is insane to even get the chance to share space with let alone a stage

This cast, this company, this crew, the people behind stage, in front of stage

everywhere to do with this theatre they are the best people in the world

From enthusiastic fans and audience alike thank you for your enthusiasm it has

certainly fueled these last few months
