You're gonna take Walker
0:02
No! It's not a marker! I don't know what it is! It's Greg! Get out
0:08
Get out! Sorry about that. We didn't see you there. Hi, Broadway World. I'm Ben Jackson Walker
0:16
And I'm Philippa Royal. I think we're ready for you. Yes, please. Come in
0:20
We would love that. Indeed. Cheers
0:32
To... Oh, not before the show. Oh, of course. So we'll just hold this and look fancy
0:38
What was the question? Alright, Broadway World. Come with me. I'm gonna give you a little tour
0:48
of everything we got here. But first, I want you to see
0:52
on my left, I have Nicolas Cage. This was actually, not this actual pillow
0:58
but a replica of this pillow was in the first casting office
1:02
where I ever got my first job, which was a guest star in the last episode
1:06
of Orange is the New Black. And this Nicolas Cage pillow was sitting there
1:10
And so I got him as a good luck charm. And now all I need to do is really just caress his face
1:16
and then I have good luck whenever I step into this building
1:20
This is really cool. We have a guitar that was actually given to us by
1:26
Flash Music. And it came as this Anne Juliet pink color. And so I bedazzled it
1:32
I took it even further. And you know, we got Britney here, if you can get a little
1:36
close up on this. We got all these stickers that were actually made
1:40
and designed by our very own Justin David Sullivan. These are really cute
1:44
And it's of course bedazzled and rhinestoned. Because it has to be
1:50
We have some of the little fan gifts that we've received over the time
1:54
that we've been here in the show. This is my dream role
1:58
Little shops if you're out there. I'm looking to be a Seymour one of these days
2:02
And then we got a bobblehead from the Pop franchise of Francois over here
2:10
We got some Lego flowers. This is a Romeo bobblehead. Which I love
2:16
This is our book writer, David West Reed of Schitt's Creek fame
2:20
gave us this. All these little bobbleheads. We each got one. So if you see up here, Philippe has one too
2:26
He's so cute. Look at us. Yay! MrStarkSands got us these the pop dolls
2:34
You might have seen these at your local Target. But yeah, we have ones for us in the cast
2:40
So this is me, which is great. I have highlights. You can see it
2:44
Just like in real life. This is one of my favorite birthday gifts that I've ever received
2:50
Don't know why I have it, but you know. I held on to it for 10 plus years
2:56
There's a lot of things that have been sent to me. Our fans
3:00
are amazing. Let's see if I can show you a few of them
3:06
I have this wonderful doll that was given to me that is like
3:10
absolutely incredible. They got the jacket absolutely right. It's like really well done because this is the actual jacket
3:18
I wear in the show. It's this amazing Montague biker jacket. This is like a
3:26
leather jacket with the sleeves cut out. It has this amazing heart with all the safety pins. And
3:32
this person got the jacket exactly correct. It also looks like a voodoo doll
3:38
It's kind of scary. I got this award. It was for the sexiest larynx
3:42
on Broadway. I don't know if anyone knows this. I got a vocal surgery last
3:46
year and I felt very insecure about it but I was gifted with this
3:50
to make me feel a little better so now I feel that my voice is the sexiest on Broadway
3:54
So yeah, my routine for getting ready for the show, you would think I have a lot
3:58
of time to get ready but I really don't because I have to walk across the stage
4:02
during the third number in the show Baby One More Time and I
4:08
so I have to get ready at the very top with everyone else. I can't just relax and
4:12
just leave my couch. But actually I have it done to a science now
4:16
where I can get it done in five minutes if I need to but really all I do is put a little
4:20
brow on, a little eyeliner and then I put my costume on and that's it
4:26
Oh, I do my hair. If it's been a bad hair day I do my hair but
4:30
literally everyone else in the show would kill me because it takes them probably like the majority
4:34
of our half hour to get ready. And it takes me five minutes
4:38
It's one of the perks of being Romeo. Also something really fun is
4:42
me and Philippe's dresser, Eric Strauss is an incredible interior designer and he does all these things by himself
4:48
and so he helped us put up this beautiful fringe and this gorgeous
4:52
navy blue curtain and so yeah, I just come back here and I feel calm
4:58
and I feel relaxed and I have a cigar because that's what I do
5:02
Just kidding, no I don't. I don't think it was really until
5:06
maybe halfway through our first year here with Aunt Juliet that we started to really make it feel like a home
5:12
because I mean we spend we got this like fringe going on that our dresser Eric Strauss
5:18
helped us put up but it's super important I mean I spend so much time here
5:24
during the show. Sometimes we get here early we spend time between shows
5:28
and you know sometimes we stay on a Saturday night and we hang out with everyone and you know
5:34
it truly feels like my second apartment in New York City. I'm more excited to be here than my actual
5:40
house. I really did set it up that when I'm not at home I have my video games here
5:46
I do a lot of work here. I used to do a lot of writing here. I do tons
5:50
of napping right here especially in between shows. That's true. A lot of
5:54
meditating, a lot of journaling so it has really become I think a second home for me
6:00
and just a place that I look forward to go throughout my day
6:06
It all leads here. It always leads back here. Cheers! That's what we'll cheers to. Cheers to that darling
