Video: Inside the First Rehearsal for LES MISERABLES THE ARENA SPECTACULAR Tour

It's family. You're part of the Les Mis alumni, you're family. And being in here, catching

up with Cameron, Claude Michel, you know, this is where it started for me. It's phenomenal

There's people here who've been in it over the sort of 39 years, all over the world

So it really is a coming together of this sort of university of Les Mis

I'm surrounded by people I've admired since I was, you know, younger than I am now

The talent is like insane and I'm so grateful that I get to be a part of it. It's incredible

Every member of the audience that I've met in the past have a completely different take

on it, or they take something from it personally. This is going to be a lot of people's first experience of Les Mis because the 10th anniversary

concert was mine. I watched it over and over again. That's an incredible introduction

to the show when it's a concert and the music speaks for itself. As soon as you hear the first chords, you know, bum bum, everybody knows. You get goosebumps

every time. I have to pinch myself. We're doing it yet again on probably the most ambitious scale

that's ever been done for any musical. I don't think any musical has ever traversed the world

in a concert version of spectacular as this. It's going to be huge. It's going to be gorgeous. It's about the music and the storytelling

going back to the pure original score. I quite literally grew up watching videos of some of these gentlemen that I'm now getting

to sing with. I grew up in a small town, so that was sort of my access. For theatre in

this industry, it's nothing short of a full circle moment for me. We have to tell that story, which is the best story of musical theatre. And I think it's

going to be unlike anything anyone has seen. Everything from the orchestra to the cast to the lighting. You've got to come and see it

I think it's about hope, it's about not giving up, and it's about love. And that's like a

transcending topic. It touches everyone's soul in a certain way. And it doesn't matter how old or how young

you are, everyone gets something out of it. I didn't think this was ever going to happen, though

I didn't either. I can't believe it. The name is, but like it's never been done before
