What's made this award nomination so special for you? Um, listen, I know that there are many artists out there

who wish to be in a position like mine, and I do not take that for granted at all, but one of the beauties of this experience

is that I'm a part of a show. I'm a part of a team. I'm a part of a family of a project

that I so believe in, and that's so rare when you actually get to be a part of work

that you truly believe in, work that you can help lift, and work that needs to be seen and experienced

to be seen and to be lifted in such a way, it's just such an affirming feeling

that first play you ever did, and what your older self would tell your younger self
