This is my first time
0:01
In forever. I have to say it. Well, am I going to give it away
0:05
Yes, okay, I'm going to give something away. It's Broadway way. I got to give you a little something, something
0:11
Hello, I'm Richard Ridge for Broadway World. No one does it better than Disney
0:15
I am here at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, 2025, which runs through February 24th
0:21
There are so many magical things to do, including the Disney on Broadway concert series
0:26
where I caught up with some of your wonderful Disney stars. We are at the Once Upon a Stage celebrating 30 years of Disney on Broadway exhibition right here at Communicor Hall at Epcot
0:40
And this is a part of the 2025 Festival of the Art. So it's exciting
0:45
You get to see all of the Disney on Broadway magic, all of the designs, the process that it took to actually bring that magic onto the stage right in front of you and for our guests to experience it
0:55
So you'll come and you'll see this and then you'll head over to the Disney on Broadway concert series at the
1:00
American Pavilion over in America in Epcot. So we get to do a little, it's like little mini concerts that are condensed to three times a day
1:09
And two couples get to do we swap out two different Disney on Broadway couples some of your favorite you know Disney on Broadway stars from so many incredible shows
1:21
And we do basically the most epic Disney on Broadway songs that you can think of
1:27
When you come to think that you started out at the Muni, and then you come to Broadway and Frozen
1:31
And now we're at Disney World. Yeah, now we're at Disney World. And in our show that we're doing here, we're singing some stuff from Little Mermaid, we're singing some stuff from Frozen
1:40
So it's really like, we're really tying all the knots together. Oh, it's so exciting
1:46
I got to do it last year, and to be back is magic. I mean, there's just, there's nothing like doing these shows in Disney World
1:51
It's incredible. Yeah, it's my very first time, so I'm ultra excited
1:57
But just to be here at The Magic, and of course, with KC, it's a literal dream come true
2:01
Yeah, we're having a lot of fun together already. Yeah. This is my third year in a row doing this, and it does not get old
2:08
Yeah. And this is my first time. In forever. I have to say it
2:14
This is my first year here. And when they call me, I said, oh my, said, would you want to come down to go to Disney World and sing Disney songs? Yeah
2:22
So I'm very excited to be here. To be able to get to do things like, well, am I going to give it away? Yes
2:27
Okay I going to give I going to give something away It probably well I got to give you a little something something So like I get to do poor unfortunate souls Can you even I know I know I know Take it in Take it in Take it in Take it in Take it in
2:37
So to be able to get to do things like that. Songs that, you know, Aida, things, the Tarzan
2:45
I mean, literally, the songs that you get to do that are not from, you know, the genie
2:50
So I get to sort of expand. I get to expand my eight legs, if you will, to be able to be able to
2:57
bring in the other iconic Disney on Broadway songs. It feels very special because I was a Disney kid
3:05
I came to Disney World when I was little cried, sitting in Mickey's arms, I think, for years. Yesterday
3:12
Still do yesterday. So I don't know. It just feels very, this place is very dear to me and special to both of us
3:20
So it feels, I feel very honored to be here. And that people are coming from all over the world to see us
3:24
It's very special. There is Disney Magic. people fly in from all over the world to come to this concert series down here
3:30
So what that means to you that people fly in from everywhere to be a part of this
3:34
Oh, yeah, it's incredible. I mean, I think there's some hardcore Broadway fans, and then there's a lot of Disney fans who haven't been to a Broadway show before
3:41
and this will be their first taste of what Disney on Broadway really is And if we can bring them to New York and bring them to the national tours as it goes through their talents like I think that huge you know just to get to be their introduction to that Absolutely and like these shows that we doing
3:55
they incorporate so many of the Disney on Broadway shows. You get a little flavor of everything that Disney on Broadway is offering
4:00
which I think is really special and really custom and just makes the whole night fantastic
4:05
You know, they're getting Broadway right in front of them. And so to be able to, it's such a special thing that specifically
4:10
Disney theatrical groups can do and bring two, the park and the relationship that they have with, you know, the park and to be able to
4:19
literally bring us there. So our fans are the best. They come every year. They know all the
4:26
songs. They are there to support and love and like just, you know, cheer us on. And what's
4:32
so great about this is that they bring their families. They bring their friends. So we're exposing
4:36
giving, what I believe, which is so important, why I love this festival and this concert series so much
4:43
so much Broadway exposure right in front of you, right there in the park, sitting there. You can hear Ms. Casey Levy belt out, you know, let it go right there. I mean, that's pretty incredible and remarkable for the fans to take that in and feel what we feel, you know, when we get to sit in a Broadway house in New York City
