How excited are you? I am beside myself. This has been a dream role of mine since I was a teenager

It is the last in the trifecta of Jonathan Larson shows for me to do, and I'm doing it

And then to do it with so many friends and fabulous artists, it's just like really, I can't

imagine a better way to spend the summer. Going back to Bucks County. going back to Bucks County and for real this time

So when we were shooting Ladies of the Canyon over the pandemic we did that in like a day and a half in February which was very beautiful I had like a lovely dinner and you know looked at some beautiful snow But I very excited to actually get onto that stage

to actually live in that beautiful place for a little while, and have real breathing, responding audience members to communicate with

I'm so excited to be at Bucks County. I've never been before. I've never been to New Hope, Pennsylvania

but I will be there for the next couple of weeks, and I'm so excited to explore. excited to explore, see it

Everyone loves Bucks County, and people come from far and wide to see the show. So we're going to deliver them something really incredible

We are at week two, I think this is day number nine. So we are shot out of a cannon and headed to Bucks County this weekend

So we're very excited to start the show. It's going to be awesome. The show is kind of about transitioning into your 30s, into who you want to be with your life

What are my dreams? How am I living the best life that I can live? Those are the questions that he was asking

And I think for me as someone that is constantly questioning that, it's like beautiful

for all of us in this room and with our audience that will be to ask ourselves those questions

It's making me go like, huh, like what is, what is life? What is real life

Like he asked some poignant questions and he did so much in his short time here

We can all only aspire to do that in our own lives. I'm thrilled. I've been asking Alex to program it for years because I love this show so much. I love the music

I had such a wonderful relationship with John and with the people who put the off play together a musical together So I can tell you and to get a cast like this how lucky am I

You know, I remember where I was the day I found out the tone of the Morrison died

and how influential rent was on me as a young theater maker. I never thought I'd get the chance to direct rent

And I never really knew this show until Robin sent it to me

And it was like looking through the attic of one's memories of what the 90s were like, what it felt like to be a young theater artist

So to me it's very personal. I really feel like I'm bringing who I was in my early days in my career

to this creative show, which is about who he was in his early career

So it's a match. Is this real life? Is this real life

We did the Spring Awakening Me Tour in 2008 when we were so young and you know and so to think back at that time like for us to be reunited on stage I also got to do Andy musical that he wrote called Burl Night at A So we kind of like and just to be back together again and to be singing together sometimes I look at him and I like God us and are like you know

I was 18, I was like, to look at you and look at where we've come

It's just really powerful. And Noah's a new friend, and my God, he is

incredibly talented and his voice and his commitment is just like none others

So I feel really lucky to have the two of them and the three of us together, we're just like
