Can't believe it is our final season of this series
0:03
How are you guys feeling sort of going into this final stretch? Yes, very sad
0:07
I mean, I think it's kind of hitting me in waves, you know, of like, sort of that it's actually over
0:13
But yeah, I'm really proud of the work in season four. And I think the fans are really going to love the way everything sort of pans out
0:19
But it's also quite a roller coaster. So, you know, maybe they won't love it. Who knows
0:23
I'll have to tune it. Yeah, I definitely think it won't hit me until I watch it all
0:29
because it's just going to be, it's hard when you're in the moment
0:35
to really understand that something you love so much is ending, but I don't think you'll actually ever truly end
0:42
I think you'll always live on within this. Yeah, totally. Speaking of watching those final episodes
0:47
what can fans expect from this new season? Expect the unexpected, you know
0:52
I think it's a lot of chaos, a lot of twists and turns
0:57
and it's a little bit confusing. I'm not going to lie because even we were confused and we were filming it
1:02
But I think that the way they tied together will probably make sense, right? Did it make sense when you watched it
1:08
Yeah. No, there's so many different high school musical universes going on with the High School
1:13
Musical 3 musical they're doing and then the High School Musical 4 reunion movie that they're doing
1:17
I'm spinning just talking about it. Yeah, and then you mentioned like when we would film, there was, you know, a room where all the castes held in between takes and stuff
1:25
and the circle of chairs was so big. Usually it's like, you know, about, I mean
1:33
our cast is pretty big to begin with, but it's like around seven or five or seven
1:37
but this was like 20 plus. Yeah, yeah. It's insane, but yeah, it's definitely going to be interesting
1:44
seeing what everyone thinks. Yeah. Yeah, as someone who grew up with high school musical
1:48
I'm so excited to see so many of the OGs, this nostalgia factor coming into this new season
1:54
Out of everyone that made a cameo, who were you the most excited to see while filming? Hmm. Hmm
2:01
I really really loved getting to film with Alison Reed the original Ms Darviz Yeah and I think she affected a lot of us and I think that would be a lot of people answers because she sat down with us at a certain point and just talked to us about her kind of life story
2:17
and about different things she's experienced, giving us her wisdom and her advice
2:20
because she's been doing this for a really long time, and her story is just amazing
2:25
It was wonderful to get to know her as Allison, as a human being, not just Ms. Darvis that I've looked up to since I was five
2:32
she's wonderful. Yeah, I feel like she's the fairy godmother of the high school musical franchise
2:36
Yeah, for real. Love it. All right, so if we're looking back on these four seasons, we have High School Musical
2:43
Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, and now High School Musical three. I know this might be a difficult question
2:49
but out of those four, which one was your favorite to do and why? Well, I think I really love doing the first House of Musical because we had to intentionally be so bad
3:01
Like, and the way we shot it was just so funny, like me and Matt, like, walking in place and like just all the silly stuff we did were like flying with the harness and everything
3:11
Like we definitely had a lot of fun. And then, you know, I think Frozen was also really fun to film and the Christoph's Lullaby and all that stuff I really love
3:18
But we didn't get to see a lot of the Frozen musical, if I'm not mistaken
3:22
Like I feel like it wasn't as much. But, yeah, I'd have to go between those two
3:26
I definitely don't want to wear that beast mask ever again. Filming that was painful
3:31
Yeah, yeah, no. Season two is definitely like a whirlwind. So I think summer camp and getting to do Frozen
3:40
that whole experience was so much fun because we were exiting a period of time
3:44
that was really difficult filming in COVID at the peak of COVID and having to break between was hard
3:50
But going to summer camp and being in the sun and being outside and feeling like we were almost revived
3:55
from that experience was really, really wonderful. and Frozen the musical is just so, so good
4:01
Yeah, definitely. Rapping up, what is your favorite memory that you're going to take away from this whole experience
4:08
What are you sort of looking back on now as we sort of finishing up I think I looking back on how okay let me restart I think it so easy to forget how far you come
4:26
to overlook how far you've come. And looking back at my pictures and videos from season one
4:33
as we're now becoming really nostalgic for this experience and as it's ending, I can really acknowledge
4:39
how much I've changed and how I was a very scared little girl
4:46
at the beginning of this, and I am still, I think, a little girl
4:50
I am only 19. I wouldn't say I'm little, but I'm still young
4:56
and so I know that there's a lot of life to live. Yeah, I'm such a wee little girl
5:02
So the guy sitting on a pillow, so he's an inch taller. Hey, don't you give me your secret
5:06
Hey, yeah, I'm sitting on a pillow right now. And it's still not doing anything
5:12
Yeah, so now I'm a big girl, I guess. But I was such a little girl at the beginning of this
5:17
And I just, I hope I made her proud. And so I'm happy to be able to acknowledge how far I've come since then
5:28
I was listening to her talk and not thinking of my answer. But, oh, I know, I was so present
5:33
No, I, yeah, you said favorite memory from like the whole series, right
5:39
Yeah, a whole series, yeah. Oh man. I think it's so funny, like, I don't know if I could pick one, but there are just so many times
5:47
You know what? I know the one. It was season two, the beginning of season two, right before the world ended
5:56
And we were all in the waiting room and we were playing Grow as we go by Ben Platt
6:01
And we all were just like in a huddle just like. singing and like it was such, I could cry right now
6:06
it's such a beautiful, wholesome, sweet moment and such a good example of like just like all the special moments
6:13
Like there were so many moments like that, but if I pick one standout, it's gross we go
6:17
I still have a video of it on my phone and every time I see it I weep So yeah it was uh yeah any of those moments where we all just theater kids seeing him about how much we love each other uh it was always magical
6:29
After years of buildup, we're finally here, senior year. I'm a junior. And you're going to
6:35
stay a junior with that attitude, Carlos. Junior year. Me and Gina together, musical's going to be the best. Here's a sneak preview
6:42
of our show. High school musical free. of you know me is Coach Bolton from the high school musical franchise
6:51
Folks, we're getting the whole gang back together to make high school musical four right here at East Time
6:57
Wait, we're still gonna do high school musical three, right? Why wouldn't we? This movie has nothing to do with us
7:05
I'm told we have a special visitor meeting us in the rehearsal room
7:09
Corbin's on the clock. Mr. Bluh? And some friends. Hey, Walker! We want the fourth movie to feel authentic
7:16
So we need you to be featured extras. It all comes down to right now it's up to us
7:26
I don't want to hear everyone's opinion about us. So what if we kind of stay a secret
7:31
A secret relationship. The musical and a movie, it's going to be a lot
7:36
Where is everybody? It appears the movie sucked up all other potential drama kids
7:40
Well, we need all the bodies we can get. We're barely filling out the cast as it is
7:44
We have to save the show. This is the last time to get you
7:48
Wherever you end up is going to be the right place. We got to show what we're all about
7:53
We're together. This is the last chance to make our mom. I don't know if I'm ready for this
7:59
You're a star. Action. No, never. W-I-D Wildcats. You know you're on W-I-D
8:08
Wildcast. Come on, come on. This is the last chance to make our mind
8:12
No one really believed in me for you guys. Now, Or, N. This is
8:16
The best thing that's ever happened to me. Wildcats, this is your five minute call
8:24
You guys don't do the lights thing
