Despite appearing in numerous film and television projects, Lacey Chabert has never forgotten her love of the stage. Though she hasn't appeared on Broadway since she was a child, Chabert just revealed a career goal that is sure to make Broadway audiences hopeful.

I was really inspired to say this, especially being back in New York City

which is where my whole career started. And I was first in Les Miserables on Broadway

And being a part of theater, I think it really taught me the work ethic that I have

what it is to be a part of a team, the show must go on. You must always be there for each other

so many good memories of being in Les Mis. So I would think I would like to share that I would love to do Broadway again

But is there a dream show or a role? Well, being in Le Miz, I was young Cosette, young at Benin, and I got to understudy Gavro

which I got to play a few times, which was so exciting. But as young Cosette and Young Eponin I always wanted to play adult Eponine Oh Which she supposed to be like 18 so the time has passed

But at some point, for one night only even, I would love to play Eponine in Lesnarot

Oh, my God. I mean, I kind of play it every in the night in my kitchen. I sing it as I'm doing the dishes

So you're ready. I put on many performances for my family. You're like, coach, put me in

That would be a dream. You know, there are places in the city like 54 below and. And I don't know if you've heard of any of these old dinner theaters

But I'm just saying at the end of the year, we can manifest that maybe you will do that

I would love that. But I think just to return to theater, there is nothing like that feeling

that buzz of like a live audience, entertaining, doing a show that you may have done a couple hundred times at this point

but it has to be like it's the first time because it's the first time that audience has seen it

It's just the most gratifying experience and to be there with everyone together

And just thinking about it, It makes me feel excited. So I hope I have the chance to do that in my career
