want to make space for us to uplift the beautiful black artist who have created a path for us

to be present on the great white way. So I would always see Black History Month projects

but I didn't always see people who look like me doing photography or videography or, you know

the musicians. And so I was like, I want to create a space during Black History Month that I see

myself in all of these different positions and that we just take the time to not only uplift

the black excellence of the past, but we also get to uplift the black excellence that is

on Broadway today. So we have performers, Haley Killeen Wright, who you just saw singing

fabulous baby. We have Nicholas Ward Broadway vet. We have myself. We have Tony nominees
