Here are our top five favorite places to travel to with kids

Number one, Youngfrau, Switzerland. Ah, Switzerland. It is truly impossible for me to put into words the magic that is the Youngfrau region in Switzerland

The mountains and tiny villages and open valleys, make this one of the most beautiful regions in the world and also one of the very

best places to travel with kids here are quick three reasons why number one

there is endless and I mean endless hiking opportunities throughout the young frau region there are easy hikes that feel more like jaunts and more difficult

ones for older kids as well number two the cable cars are an adult and kid heaven

truly these cable cars are such a fun way to traverse the area and get views you and your kids will love it And number three okay this is crazy but the top of the mountains have playgrounds like full playgrounds Let the kids go wild while you grab a cup of coffee

Perfection. Number two, Tokyo, Japan. Okay, so yes, Tokyo is one of the busiest cities in the world

And yes, it is a bit chaotic with kids in the center of the city, but hidden throughout the city

are tiny little neighborhoods perfect for exploring. Tokyo has playgrounds scattered everywhere

providing the perfect pit stop for the kids to get some wiggles out. On top of there being great places for kids to play

the food is also a dream for little ones. Whether it's a sushi train restaurant or two-foot-long udon noodles

Tokyo makes it easy when it comes to satisfying everyone's appetite. Lastly, Tokyo is full of day trips accessible by train

giving your family a ton of options to escape the city with no more than two hours spent on a train

Number three Taipei Taiwan Taipei is truly one of the most glorious cities It is full of nature and urban and everything you need for a well travel experience The main things that make this one of our favorite travel destinations with kids is the excursions within close driving distance whether it picking tea with your little ones or noodle making Taipei is also packed with playgrounds in areas to sit and take a moment to relax And there are tons of hikes just outside of the city to get in that outdoor time

Number four, Lake Como, Italy. In addition to being one of our favorite places in the world, Lake Como is an incredible destination with kids in tow

The lake itself sets the scene for the perfect family getaway, whether it be hopping on the many ferries, renting a boat, or tossing rocks into the water

The food is every kid's dream with spaghetti and pizza galore and lots and lots of coffee for the parents to recharge

Lake Como also has lots of outdoor areas and hikes, play games, play games, and, and

grounds to stop at and public squares to play in Number five and definitely last but not least Costa Rica If you looking for a more adventurous family trip Costa Rica is the place for you Costa Rica with its diverse landscape has everything you want in a tropical vacation

from rest and relaxation at the beach to rainforest excursions. You can spend your time swimming in the pool or hiking through the cloud forest

whatever the age of your kid, each and every spot in Costa Rica is a hit

We particularly loved our boat ride through the rainforest, where we spotted not just one, but two sloths
