Jesse Stone Night Passage Night Passage, Tom Selleck returns in the role of the small-town police chief, having been booted from the LAPD for drunkenness.  Stone heads to Paradise, Massachusetts, where he is appointed police chief by a corrupt local banker, Hastings Hathaway, who is president of the Board of Selectmen.
