Prepare to be shocked as I reveal 17 children's toys that have been prohibited but are still
0:26
being sold on popular online marketplaces like Amazon and AliExpress. Number 17. Toothpick
0:33
crossbows. Toothpick crossbows are small handheld toys that shoot toothpicks with surprising force
0:40
While they seem harmless, they can cause concern due to their potential for injury
0:44
Some countries, including China, have banned the toy due to safety concerns. However
0:49
toothpick crossbows can still be found for sale on popular online marketplaces like Amazon and
0:55
AliExpress. Parents should be cautious when purchasing toys for their children and consider
0:59
the potential risks associated with them. Ultimately, it's important to prioritize safety
1:04
when it comes to toys and make informed decisions about what's appropriate for your child
1:10
Number 16. Slingshot. Slingshot is a classic time-tested plaything that has delighted children
1:16
and adults for generations. With the simple design of a Y-shaped stick and a rubber band
1:21
it's been used for fun and sport, from shooting rocks at targets to launching water balloons at
1:26
friends. However, despite its popularity, the toy has been banned in some countries due to safety
1:32
concerns. In the United States, slingshots are generally legal, but some states have restrictions
1:39
on their use. In other countries, such as the UK and Australia, they're banned altogether
1:44
The reason for the ban is that slingshots can cause serious injuries if not used responsibly
1:49
Despite these restrictions, slingshots can still be found on online marketplaces like Amazon and AliExpress
1:56
So, while slingshots may be banned in some places, they're still widely available for those who want to enjoy them
2:03
As with any toy, it's important to use them safely and responsibly to avoid any accidents or injuries
2:10
15. Skydancer Skydancer is a popular children's toy that became a sensation in the late 1990s
2:17
It's a doll with wings that spins and flies through the air when attached to a launching pad
2:22
Kids love the toy's unique features and often spend hours playing with it
2:27
However, the toy has faced controversy due to safety concerns. In 2000, the Sky Dancer was banned in the United States and Canada after numerous reports of eye and face injuries
2:38
Despite the ban, the toy is still available in online marketplaces like Amazon and AliExpress, often with safety warnings
2:45
The toy's popularity has not diminished, and many parents still seek it out for their children
2:51
14. Clackers Clackers were a popular toy in the 1970s, consisting of two hard plastic balls connected by a string that could be swung up and down to make a clacking sound
3:03
However, due to safety concerns, the toy was banned in the United States in the late 1970s
3:09
The clackers could break and release small pieces of sharp plastic, which could be a choking hazard
3:13
Despite being banned in the United States, clackers are still available for purchase on
3:18
Amazon and AliExpress. However, they are banned in some countries such as Germany due to safety concerns
3:25
The ban in Germany is due to the potential for eye injuries if the clackers break while
3:30
in use. Overall while clackers remain a nostalgic and entertaining toy for some they not without risks and should be used with caution Number 13 Kite Tube The kite tube toy was a popular
3:43
water sport item in the early 2000s, but it quickly became notorious for its dangerous design
3:49
The inflatable tube was shaped like a kite and could reach high speeds, making it difficult to
3:54
control. Numerous accidents and injuries were reported, prompting the U.S. Consumer Product
4:00
Safety Commission to ban the product in 2006. Despite the ban, the kite tube toy can still be
4:05
found on online marketplaces such as Amazon and AliExpress. However, buyers should be aware of
4:11
the risks involved and the potential for injury. It's important to prioritize safety when engaging
4:17
in water sports or any other activities. Number 12. Buckyball. Buckyballs, also known as magnetic
4:24
balls or neodymium magnets, are small spherical magnets that can be used to create unique
4:28
sculptures or patterns. These toys have gained popularity due to their ability to provide hours
4:33
of entertainment, stress relief, and creative expression. However, some countries have banned
4:39
the sale of buckyballs due to safety concerns. For example, in the United States, the Consumer
4:44
Product Safety Commission, or CPSC, banned the sale of these magnets in 2012, citing the risk
4:50
of ingestion and injury to children. Despite the ban, buckyballs are still available for purchase
4:55
on Amazon and AliExpress as these marketplaces are not directly regulated by the CPSC. The ban
5:02
has sparked controversy, with some arguing that it infringes on personal freedom and responsibility
5:07
Nonetheless, it's essential to exercise caution when handling these powerful magnets, particularly around children. Number 11. Inflatable Baby Floats
5:17
Inflatable baby floats are a popular toy for parents to introduce their little ones to water
5:22
play. These floats come in various designs, including animals and characters, and provide
5:27
a safe and enjoyable experience for babies. However, in recent years, there have been
5:32
concerns about the safety of these floats, as some have been linked to drowning incidents
5:37
In Australia, inflatable baby floats have been banned due to safety concerns. The country's
5:42
strict safety standards have prompted officials to crack down on the sale and use of these floats
5:47
Despite the ban, they are still available on online retailers such as Amazon and
5:52
AliExpress. Parents should always prioritize safety when choosing toys for their babies
5:57
especially when it comes to water activities. It's essential to research the product's safety
6:02
features and read reviews from other parents before purchasing any inflatable baby float

6:23

6:43
with kids and collectors alike. Overall, the Austin Magic Pistol is a fun and harmless toy
