All right, so let's get into these mini experiences because it's sort of at the center of the vehicle now
0:09
So we'll start at the top and we're going down. So first you have go-kart, which is pretty self-explanatory
0:17
This is the sportiest setting. It stiffens up the steering, makes the accelerator a little more responsive, and gives the engine a bit more growl
0:24
Here, listen to this. Nice little growl. And then next we have core, which is sort of the default that makes a noise too
0:38
It basically relaxes all the controls, puts them nice and smooth. Everything's in comfort
0:42
The lighting's not intense or that bright. A steering wheel is a little lighter
0:48
Acceleration response is a little lighter. It's just sort of the figure out for cruise mode
0:54
Next up, we have green mode. It's noise. So this is about efficiency which it says right on the screen we turn it on There a bonus range tracker about how much fuel you saving as you drive There other things telling you how your efficiency is going
1:11
It has some green lighting to go with the green mode. And the engine sounds reduced
1:15
Well, you know, not engine sound. The sound, the car is producing through the speakers as the engine sound
1:21
Not to say the engine is completely silent. It does make noise, but you know what I'm getting at. Next is Vivid
1:26
Here's its noise. So Vivid's. kind of cool. As the name suggests, it's all about being bright and sort of in your face
1:37
So it defaults to whatever you're listening to through the audio system. So if you're using a phone
1:43
a streaming service, satellite radio, whatever. And if there's cover art to go with the song
1:47
you're listening to, the screen will actually adjust its colors as well of the projections to
1:51
incorporate the main colors of that art. So it's usually a sort of mauve color to begin with
1:59
but then other sections will highlight into greens or blues or yellows or reds or whatever is on the album cover
2:05
It a bit of a gimmick but again this is a very youthful fun vehicle inside and this is something I think they appreciate I not a youth I still think it cool though So next we have timeless Here its noise
2:18
A little delay there, but it came. So timeless is sort of what it makes it sound like
2:23
It defaults to the gauge screen, which has some old-school-looking letters and numbers and gauges to sort of mimic the original minis
2:31
It's pretty cool. Other than that, it doesn't really change how the vehicle performs, but the, you know
2:37
The engine note, mini claims it's a mixture of a 1959 mini with the first modern JCW
2:43
which would be sort of the mid-2000s mini. Here, have a listen
2:52
It's hard to kind of pick the two sounds out, but it does have a bit of a growl, so cool
2:57
So then we go to balance. Here's its noise. Oh, how serene
3:03
So it is supposed to just add some balance. to how the car is So if you have the massage seat equipped it turn that on the lighting will get reduced it play soothing sounds through the speakers as you dry faintly It just to kind of calm you which is kind of funny because it should be called calm not balance but whatever And finally we have trail mode
3:29
As you can hear, it's a very jungle sort of sound to it. That's because this is the SUV
3:33
mini and it is the all four. So I get it. It's not really an off-roader. It doesn't really do
3:40
anything to the vehicle either other than change the lighting motif to apparently make you feel
3:45
you more adventurous side. I mean, this potentially is one of the most gimmicky one of the experiences
3:50
but I guess it's all about setting your mood and it's just fun to play with. And that's what people
3:56
want nowadays with technology. They want customizable, adjustable whatever's or we're the smartphone
4:01
generation. Well, I'm not, but you know, I guess I am. We're all smartphone obsessed. I mean
4:07
even people in their 80s down to 6 or all over their smartphones
