Bring your party with you with this great wireless speaker. Let's check it out
0:11
Dave Taylor here and I'm checking out this. This very cool is the TriBit X sound mega portable wireless
0:19
speaker. Now first things first it is 10 inches by three and a half inches by three inches and it's 2.2 pounds
0:28
which translates to 250 millimeters by 87 millimeters by 80 millimeters and one kilogram
0:34
if you need that. And so it's a little heavy, but man, it sounds great
0:40
So Bluetooth 5.0 giving you 100 foot range, three listening modes, X-Base, and music
0:46
And then the third mode is podcast or audiobook. Portable. It actually includes a shoulder strap and has these nice big clips on both ends
0:57
so it's super easy to sling it over your shoulder if you're heading to the pool or the beach or a picnic
1:02
or you're going up and you're cross-country skiing and you want to stop halfway and enjoy it
1:08
because it's also IPX7 waterproof. It's fully waterproof. If it falls in the pool, you're cool
1:15
You take it out, you let it dry off, you're ready to go. You probably don't even have to let it dry off
1:19
And of course, it has lights. So I'll show you that in a second when we get some music. Really fun
1:25
20 hours of playtime with 8,000. milliamp hour battery and on the back in a sealed compartment are ports so you can charge other devices too Now the way these ports work as you can see in this close is that there USBA which is the rectangle
1:43
and that is a charge-only port. So you can plug in your phone and get a little charge if you need it
1:48
And then USBC is also a charge port, but it's also how you charge this device
1:54
So it can take voltage either way, wattage, power, whatever you want to call it
1:59
And then right there, smack dab in the middle is a 3.5 millimeter AUX port
2:03
So if you don't want to use Bluetooth or you just don't have the Bluetooth option
2:09
you can plug in an AUX cord. Now, all the controls are on the top
2:13
And from left to right, they are power. Bluetooth. Pause, play, volume down, volume up, the brightness control, and the EQ
2:22
And then there's the little sticker on the front, which I will eventually take off. But it shows you that you can step through those three listening modes
2:30
I talked about, X-Base, music, audiobook. There's also a microphone because, believe it or not, it's also a speakerphone
2:38
Now, most speakerphones don't really reproduce music very well. This one has that mastered
2:44
But you know what? Enough talk. Let's put on some music. So here we go
2:51
All right. So that sounds pretty nice. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and turn the volume up
2:56
That's less than half volume. So it gets really loud Now let step through the three different EQ modes So right now this is X And now we on audiobook or audio
3:13
So what's happened is it's sort of gotten rid of most of the bass. Works great for podcasts and such
3:20
And this is just regular music. So now, with that jamming, let's look at what the lighting can do
3:28
Right? So you can switch it. There's three different modes, and then you can get to a mode where it just turns off the lighting entirely
3:39
Super easy. Let's pause that. It's great music, a little bit loud
3:46
So that's really everything. And like I said, it has a built-in microphone so you can take a phone call on it
3:51
How cool is that, right? And here's the thing. If you have two of these, you compare them in what they call broadcast mode, and then you can have one signal that's
4:01
splits into stereo and gives it to you in both speakers. This is great if you have your own pool
4:07
and you maybe want to have one on each end of the pool or you want to have a party where not
4:12
everyone has to huddle right around that speaker. Now this gets pretty loud. You don't have to worry about people huddling around it, but still, you know what I mean. So that's really everything
4:21
about this. I think that they've done a fantastic job. Tribit has gone through generation after
4:26
generation of developing this sort of speaker technology so they really know what
4:30
they're doing and this is one this is a definite keeper this is one we're going to
4:35
use in my family when we outside and we want to have music or maybe a podcast or maybe an audio book but mostly we listen to music And I can imagine like having this in the garage absolute slam dunk just a great device tons of battery life
4:51
really, really good, strong, rich sound, lots of bass if you want to go into that X-base mode
4:58
And what else can I tell you? It's a winner. It's definitely one we're checking out, which means we should talk about the price
5:06
But before we get to the price, I'm going to ask you to subscribe to my channel
5:11
Click or a tap on that subscribe button and we're connected. How cool is that
