This frother will add pizzazz to all your milk beverages
0:03
Let's check it out. Dave Taylor here, and I'm checking out this
0:13
This is the Meistry House detachable milk frother, and it's pretty cool
0:17
It runs with magnets, and it can heat things up. But most importantly, you put milk into its little container, and it froths it up at the level you want
0:28
which makes really a vast number of beverages way more fun. Now, it's not a steamer, so it's not doing the same thing you'd have your barista do at your coffee shop
0:39
but it's a pretty darn similar process. As you can see, it's a nice big, well-built system with an easy front panel and display
0:49
giving you the ability to have three different temperatures. You can set it to not heat at all, or you can get it to 120, 140, or 160
0:58
degrees. There are three levels of froth you can choose. This is a stainless steel jug and on the inside
1:06
there are three marks that indicate the minimum level for any liquid you put in, the maximum level
1:13
if you want froth, and at a much higher point, the maximum level if you want to just use it to
1:19
heat things up. So for that one, that's about there. So that is a fairly decent capacity. Now
1:26
What's cool about it is that it all works with magnets. So here's the whole secret
1:31
So this is the frothing disk and then there's a spring you can optionally include
1:38
and then there's a cover you can optionally include depending on the level of froth that you want
1:43
And you'll notice there's nothing on the bottom, there's no holes, there's no gears
1:48
So you just drop it in and it's ready to go. That's it
1:53
It's literally that easy. So I going to actually set this up and I going to make a quick hot chocolate And I using oat milk So I use oat milk I use the full fat oat milk but it still relatively low fat compared to like cows or dairy milk or something
2:11
So the more fat that's in your milk, the more protein, I guess, is how they tell it
2:17
then the more froth you get. But it's still going to work really well
2:21
I've tried it before. So I'm going to start by pouring my cold
2:26
fresh out of the fridge milk to the maximum froth line that's about there and then I do
2:35
have hot chocolate powder this is s'mores cocoa right so this is fancy stuff
2:40
but we're not going to put that in immediately what I'm going to do is I'm going to get it started so I'm going to put this in and then I'll put the lid on it
2:50
and then I already have it plugged in so now I have to specify the
2:56
temperature I want. So you'll notice I push the button and it steps through temperature options
3:02
And I think I'll just do it at 140. It takes obviously the hotter you make it, the longer it's going to take
3:08
And then I push the froth button and that gives me the choice of low, medium, or high level of froth
3:16
and then I'll push to start it. And I want to give you some action cam footage so you can see what's going on inside
3:24
So you can see it's mixing up and now while it's having its great froth adventure, I'm going to put a spoonful of the hot chocolate powder in
3:39
And it'll take a moment or two, but it will actually perfectly distribute it
3:46
And we're going to get a nice frothy hot chocolate with oat milk
3:51
You can see it working on it and you can hear it really really quiet too which is really terrific It does take a while So this is going to be a couple of minute process particularly since I chose the medium temperature
4:09
But that's just how you get the best results and the most froth
4:13
And I can tell you when I peek in it, oh, listen. When you get those five beeps, it's done
4:22
So, in fact, my timing was perfect. So now let's pull. pour this out, I'm going to put my finger on the spindle
4:32
I'm going to pour it out and hopefully you can see this is a beautiful frothy, creamy hot chocolate
4:41
I might possibly have used an insufficient amount of actual hot chocolate, but let's see
4:49
Yeah, I hope you can tell that is a very frothy, creamy beverage and taste
4:56
taste wise hmm hmm that is delicious probably a little bit of more of the hot
5:07
chocolate powder would have helped but that's it that's all you have to do and
5:11
now I have to just let this cool down but it's the magnet so you can see all
5:16
of this just basically sits in the bottom I can even pour out maybe a little bit more
5:26
Oh, and that looks really good. So this gives you, it's a timer, it gives you audio feedback, it gives you the ability to set what temperature you want, to set how much froth you want
5:39
Again, if I would have used dairy milk or something, I would have gotten a lot more froth
5:43
But this is exactly like a perfect cappuccino, this level of froth
5:48
Now a cappuccino, barista, would be using a milk steamer, but this does the same thing
5:54
and it's at home and it's super easy to clean. In particular we have some where there a little gear here and those are a little bit more complicated to clean whereas this is literally just a stainless steel holder stainless steel jug super easy to work with
6:10
So I really like it. I like the design. It comes with this little cleaning doohickey, which we actually sort of looked at and puzzled over for a little while
6:21
Obviously, this is a wicked good gift for people that like their coffee, or, you know, just imagine you could even use something like
6:28
a curing or something to make the coffee and then use this to make some frothy milk and add it to the
6:34
coffee and you're rocketing. You got some delicious beverage right there at home or in the office
6:39
right? Either way, this could be really fun. So it comes in this white and they also make it in
6:46
yellow, green and black, but those are hard to find because those are out of stock. The white one
6:51
they make a lot of. So the only thing I'll have to talk about is the price. But before we get to the
6:56
price and before I get to drink that beverage, let me just ask you, if you don't mind
7:01
go ahead and click and subscribe on my channel. I get my hands on a lot of consumer electronics
7:06
gear, a lot of technology, and I give you straightforward and honest reviews. Why wouldn't you
