This video is about determining the slope of a line and finding out if it is negative. The equation of the line is written in slope in intercept form y = m x + b and the sign of the slope is identified. Horizontal lines are identified from their equations and therefore their slopes are equal to zero and hence are not negative. Vertical lines are also determined from their equations and therefore their slopes are undefined.
