Loot Crate unboxing and review September 2017

Hey guys, it's Dave from AIPTComics.com and I have the September Loot Crate which just

came in the mail and we're going to do an unboxing and a quick snap judgment review

So let's get this thing open. I haven't actually looked inside yet

Alright, let's see here. It looks like the box is some sort of cereal box style or pseudo cereal box style

I bet you can make it into the cereal box. Yeah, yeah. So the box is actually part of the loot

Alright, we got a t-shirt. Always comes with a t-shirt and it looks like it's a Blade Runner inspired, or the Blade

Runner 2049 movie. What does that say? Wallace. Wallace Corporation. That must be the corporation that Robin Wright is in

Or I think she's a cop actually. Oh, is she a cop? Maybe it's the bad guys. But it's kind of neat

You can see there's like these little engineer like symbols in the logo

That's kind of cool. Definitely looking forward to that movie which comes out in I think two weeks

Alright, it looks like we have an alien's toy of some sort

It's Queen Takes Bishop it's called. It's kind of funny. Let's open this up

I wonder if you can actually stab that little guy like it shows on the box

Yeah, I don't know. That's gotta be a feature, right? It's got a little dude

Oh, he's actually already getting stabbed. And then. Comes pre-stabbed. And then pieces of the alien

Ooh, the queen. Look at that head. Looks like a pretty simple toy that is easy to put together

A little figurine with a little base. That's kind of cool. And then, let's see what else we got

Little information sheet. Oh, that's a contest. Oh, it is? Yeah, that's a contest

That goes with the next thing in there. So we've got an R2-D2 collectible 3D wood model

That's kind of neat. It's kind of heavy actually. So there's definitely some wood in there

And it looks like you can put together. This is just a photo of R2-D2, but then it looks something like this

And then it doesn't look like it's colored, but you can color it

And it says you can do it with colored pencils, which is kind of cool

It's got kind of like a neat little. It's like very close to it, but it also has like that wood look, which is nice

Yeah, that's cool. So it comes in flat sheets then I guess, right? Yeah, and you punch it up

Yeah, that should be fun. And there's a contest? Yeah, it talks about

It looks like it says something like a hashtag or something on there, wasn't there? Oh yeah, and you can win

So I guess whoever bedazzles it the most can. Oh yeah, build it and post it before November 3rd

Oh, so we have time. Cool, we'll have to do that. We got a little booklet with info on all the items inside, as you can see

Oh, that's so sweet. Just to give you extra detail on this stuff

There's the shirt. Oh, does it give us background on what the shirt is? Yeah

Wallace Corp has provided much for the world, and such technological advanced organizations

deserve more than a simple tee. This Blade Runner t-shirt design also glows in the dark

Fair warning, it may be slightly distracting if you wear it to the movie. Ah

That's better. Alright. It looks like we have two more things. We've got a comic book

This is Star Trek The Next Generation, Mirror Broken. And this is a really good series

I've actually reviewed every issue of this for IDW. And this is apparently a Loot Crate exclusive

It's a pretty cool cover. It is pretty cool. That looks like it's Data, and then there's Captain Picard

It's a series about a mirror universe where all the characters that we know and love from

Star Trek Generation are evil. And it's written by the series writers and the actual artists

So they had the actual creators of the series jump on board and make this

And it is a origin of Data in this universe. Pretty cool. Wow

Everybody loves Data. So I am actually really excited for this because the series is quite good

And the last thing we have is a cute little robot pin for September

Nice little color and detail on that too. Not bad. Yeah, he's cute

He's not very 3D, but very well designed. And then of course we have the box

So now that we can see the bottom, you'll see it's sort of like a game, a little game

that you get on the back of a cereal box, which is kind of fun. Maybe we'll put that together and then just put it out and then when friends come over

they'll be like, hey, is this any good? Put something inside it

Right, right. Anywho, so this is the September Loot Crate for 2017

I am quite impressed with what we got. I mean, the shirt is cool. I'm into Blade Runner

I'm into this comic series, Star Trek Broken Mirror. This R2 figurine is pretty nice too

This is probably the least interesting thing I got, but still it's well made and it's pretty neat

Overall, this is like a science fiction fan's wet dream. They love this
