So Fantec sent me this X8 ACE air pump, so I just want to do a quick overview of it
0:05
and I'm real excited for it because it definitely looks like it's a high quality type of air pump
0:10
So right here, here's the first thing you see in the box, which is going to be the air pump itself
0:15
And there's going to be some other stuff in the back. So right here we have, there are accessories below, just a little card telling you that there's stuff below it
0:24
the user manual and of course underneath it this is where all the accessories are going to go ahead
0:30
and live so right here we're going to have the usbc charging cable and the three different heads
0:36
to go ahead and actually use the air pump and of course the most important part the air pump itself
0:41
so here's everything that comes in the box and now this is going to be the air pump that attaches
0:45
right up over here but before that let's just go over the actual air pump itself so just by the
0:51
looks of it this looks really high quality this kind of reminds me of a speaker i'm just because
0:56
of the mesh material it's made out of it does have like a little carrying hook here so you can kind
1:01
of attach a carabiner and just put it on your bag moving to the bottom this is where the charger is
1:07
going to go ahead and be so this is where i'll go ahead and charge it shows me a little bit more
1:11
information about this air pump there's nothing on the side on the back we just have the logo
1:17
So up on top, we're going to have two things. One is going to be where the air pump goes, where the hose goes here
1:24
And the second one is going to be this white part, which is actually going to be for a light
1:28
So I'll show that in a sec. And of course, on the sides, this is going to be where all the buttons are going to be located
1:34
So just holding the power button for a few seconds, it'll go ahead and turn it on. And there
1:38
So right now it's set to mountain bike. And the zero indicates how much PSI is currently shown, which is zero because I'm not attached to anything
1:45
the battery shown in the upper left corner and the units which is PSI. So when
1:50
I go ahead and press this button it go ahead and switch So right now it mountain bike now it city now it road and that just gives me a unit or a number and then goes back to e now if i want to go
2:00
ahead and change it all i have to do is just press the plus button and then go and increase psi or
2:05
decrease psi and when i'm ready i can just go ahead and press the power and it goes ahead and starts
2:12
so i'll show that in a sec but the cool thing about this is it also has the light over here so
2:17
if I hold this button for a few seconds it's going to go ahead and flash and it's going to be
2:22
a steady light. Now if I hold it for another two seconds it's going to go ahead and switch to SOS
2:27
so it's going to blink on and off every few seconds and if I press for another two seconds
2:31
it's going to go ahead and completely turn off. There now it's off. So I went ahead and attached
2:39
the air pump to my bike and it was pretty easy all I had to do was just turn over the valve
2:42
I didn't need any of the caps just because this goes on directly to the bike itself
2:48
Now when I go ahead and turn it on, it just lights up. And then here after a few seconds, it'll go ahead and tell me what the current PSI is, which is 9
2:56
So if I want to go ahead and increase a little bit more, I can go ahead and press it. And there
3:08
I increased it up to 16, then I went ahead and turned it off with the button over here
3:12
And actually I want to give it a little bit more. Yeah, that feels a lot better
3:28
And then I can just go ahead and unscrew this. Yeah, overall using this air pump is really easy
3:34
I can definitely see how this can go ahead and be convenient. You know, just in a pinch
3:38
you know, if I'm going for long bike rides and my tires suddenly low, you know, you can kind of
3:43
just go ahead and grab this and easily pump your tires. But yeah, that's a quick overview
3:48
of the Fantec bike air pump
