Unboxing & First Impressions: Donner P-Style Bass Review

So let's unbox this and see what we get

Okay, so we have the base right here with a fatted gig bag

That is nothing too fancy. It's just a light gig bag with not that heavy padding

It does have a cool slipper right here. In the front. So you get an extra front bucket

And then, of course, the base. It is pretty handy that you get a pickback with it though

A lot of brands are doing that nowadays. Because that way you have everything you need to start using this in practice rooms

Or on tour, so that's packaged pretty well. Let's remove that. So here it is, so it's the black and white version

It's really, really shiny. It's a great condition with a long neck here

We also get an instrument cable right here. and hand on our strap so you can attach this to the strap pins right here and you can play this standing up as well

so it really neat to get everything you need here to really start playing and gigging immediately So let start playing this So you get these two like Donner pickups right here and they pretty bright

I think it sounds great. You get the volume now up here

The tone. And a tongue makes it different

So I'm playing this through a little jojo bass amp right here, which is also a cool practice amp

So the sound through the amp isn't maybe the best. It just a little practice amp but this really shows you what you can do with a really small budget This is a budget guitar and you can get a little practice amp and you can just really start playing right from the get go

Maybe Chon's a little bit more A little bit here on the end up a little bit here on the amp as well

Just a little bit brighter. The

The You can also get some cool distorted sounds out of this

So let's look at that. I'm So overall it's a really cool base with a popular body and it has a very high gloss finish right here

The neck is out of the box pretty straight and the action is maybe a little bit higher here on the higher frets but overall also pretty playable

So straight out of the box you can already play this and start making some very good

really great tunes. I really recommend this for anyone who's looking for a cool bass and is on a budget
