information uh about scholarships about as you can see like studying in different countries finding affordable

universities uh language requirements what types of different scholarships that that are available uh for

international students what type of courses tests and documents and as of course uh I think one of the most uh

useful things that we have is our Search tool which is completely free search tool to find scholarships all around the

world so we have a huge database about like 5,000 scholarships um we like

search all around internet like International Education opportunities

around the world can I hi hi there Kips notes I believe can I get Bachelor

scholarship without ilts uh and we have okay we have a couple of questions uh right at the

beginning as best Channel thank you very much erro that's it's great to have you

here uh every week it's really it's really nice thank you very much so um

why don't we start with the first question am man can I get Bachelor scholarship without ilts

um the short answer is yes uh but it also

depends um there are scholarships that um don't

require a language proficiency scores per se but if they're offered by

universities uh generally most universities uh require certain level of

English proficiency at the time of application if you have received your educ education in English uh before

applying for a bachelor's degree then um you can get a certification for that

apply using it or if English is an official language

or uh an official language uh in your country

then uh you definitely can get that waved like the

requirements for anniet because you are considered as a native speaker right um also obviously um I can

assume you mean for like a program in English because if you're not studying

uh in a program that is in English obviously you wouldn't need let's say you want to stay study in German study

in Japan Korea in those languages obviously then you would also need that too anyway so guys uh let me show you

how to use our search Tool uh which is to find scholarships uh in fact we're

going to see uh one of the best universities in South Korea today and we're going to see like every single

scholarship that that university has to offer uh which is s s University but

before that let me show you how our uh Search tool works so let's say um you

have a country in mind let's say you have a program in mind let's say you have a university in mind you can just

go to Global scholarships.com here as you can see it's free you don't need like an account or something you can

just type in let's say uh you want to study in Germany

right and when you type in uh you can click here under country Germany or you

can just like if you don't have anything in mind any country or anything in mind you can just hit enter to see all the

scholarships that we have in our base in our database this is still showing um

Germany right yeah I think so let's try that again

hm okay you know what let's go to Global scholarships.com uh so our like Search

tool and our website is changing all the time so sometimes there are little kinks uh but it's working yeah so we have

about 4,500 scholarships these are the scholarships that are given by these universities to newcoming students okay

there are other scholarships that are given by institutions given by governments uh you can see those here for example under scholarship section

popular government scholarships blah blah blah uh also there are scholarships that are given by the universities to

enrolled students like students in their second years third years uh something like that uh we're going to see a couple

of those today as well even though they're not in our database so these are

only the ones that are given by the universities to newcoming students okay we have a question I have completed my

high school in premedical and now I want to apply for a bachelor degree in computer science in Europe am I eligible

for admission in computer science Aman this is a very specific

question um so it all depends on your

grades uh but I'm not sure what a high school in premedical

means um so do you have a high school

diploma plus PR medical or does your high school itself offer offer a a a

premedical degree also like right sorry no no no go ahead go like also it would

be I think it would be helpful if you uh tell us like uh by by the end of that

school have you uh completed like 12 years of uh education I think that's

important too for a lot of universities too so go

ahead um yeah yeah yeah so you're right that's exactly what I was going to say so I was going to say if it was a 12

year degree as in have you had 12 years of

education okay um just let us know man so we can help you a little better uh Kips note says in CSC or Scholarships in

Korea they say one prep Preparatory year for language with bachelor's four years

programs and so so does it mean I will complete my degree in five years or language year is included in four year I

think it is four year plus uh the language

right yes as far as I know like the first year would be just language and then you uh are enrolled into your

program um be it like the Chinese government scholarship or uh the global

Korea scholarship or Mex for that matter so I think the first year is always

Preparatory and then uh you do your degree but um it's not always the case

because it it all depends on the program you're enroll into and I think sometimes

they're done at the same time uh but I can't give you like uh an

exact answer on that um okay so another Soul strings

hang on is there is there like a problem with our connection uh soulring says is it possible to acquire a fully

compensated scholarship that also covers travel and hotel expenses I've never heard a scholarship that covers Hotel

expenses but there are certain scholarships that cover your um travel

that gives you a travel allowance sometimes uh very comprehensive scholarships uh like I think Mex for

example we've just like like we are doing right now a video for like seven fully funded Scholarships in Japan I

think it will be up tomorrow uh like there you can see a couple of scholarships that cover your plane

tickets to Japan and to come back when your education is completed uh like if

by Hotel expenses do you mean accommodation because if so yes there are a lot of scholarships that cover

your um accommodation as well um like dormatory or that they give you

accommodation allowance I think so um Aman what do you

think um not all scholarships give

you uh tra like cover travel expenses that that's the big one uh for

accommodation it's pretty common I'm not sure if that's what they mean by Hotel

expenses so it would be an accommodation not in a hotel but it would be like a shared uh accommodation with other

students um but as far as travel visa

most of the time those are on the students those are covered by the big

scholarships that off that are offered by governments but they're not offered by

scholarships um or covered by scholarships offered by universities you

can find it for example if you go to the chavet in the UK you'll find that they give you a plane ticket uh from and back

to your country uh but if you go to most universities

websites you won't find that kind of coverage accommodation is common but

traveling expenses and anything relating to that is not yeah for example this is um

chevening it covers tuition course fees airfare as you can see arrival and departure allance cost and

clearance and travel top up allowance and mon monthly personal allowance for accommodation and living expenses so

yeah there are but those are like um so when you when you talk about fully funded scholarships uh obviously like

fully funded scholarships are in in the Min minority a lot of scholarships will be uh andang going actually let me show

you for a lot of people um that maybe like who do not know about that like funding type there are three types of

funding partial funding full tution and full funding partial funding means it covers less than the tuition fees full

tuition means it covers just the tuition fees like however the tuition fees like how much is it that year it covers that

all of that and then if it's full funding it covers tuition fees then it covers something more maybe a stipend

sometimes it covers uh the accommodation some some scholarships are really like big scholarships comprehensive

scholarships uh that they give you like stien they cover your just like shaving

that we've seen uh which is why they're very uh popular obviously uh cover your tuition fees they cover uh stien they

cover accommodation they cover sometimes health insurance they cover like specific allowances uh based on the uh

like the education for example there are technology uh stem scholarships that gives you that give you like a laptop

allowance and something like that and so yeah there are some scholarships that cover uh travel allowance as well uh but

there are like there are very few of those and if you're interested you can check out our uh video that will be

coming tomorrow probably about like Scholarships in Japan there are a couple of those uh like Max like I think joint

uh Japan World Bank scholarship also covers that U not all of them are for Bachelors of course hi there uh hi

have filters here um you can filter for like degrees Bachelors let's say you are

a bachelor student you can filter for locations here as well these are the countries um whatever country you

interested in can cover for funding type obviously partial funding and full

tution scholarships are like there are way more of those uh compared to full funding scholarships and scholarship

types University government uh this is like just recently added so sometimes it

does not really work but like we are working on it uh to fix that scholarship deadline obviously um like if you if you

want to see scholarships that can apply right now uh that you can choose currently open you cannot do that for

PhD scholarships by the way because their application deadlines usually change based on the program and

department and subjects and subjects and nationalities usually they do not matter

for most scholarships like a lot of scholarships do not care about the subject or the nationality like if uh

you are like if you want to study a subject that is offered by the university usually you can apply to

their scholarships um and nationalities as well but there are some scholarships that are specifically for like one

subject or one nationality or a couple of nationalities uh for example let's say you want to study um I don't know

let's say artificial intelligence you can click on that and first it will show you

the scholarship that mentions specifically artificial intelligence and after that

um like all subject scholarships obviously that means if the university offers that program so utara has a

question uh is it important to give eju to get J JSO scholarship um I think that

yeah that's a very specific question um Aman what do you think um I believe so yes I think it is

a requirement uh so eju is the Examination for Japanese University

admission um and it's generally required from International students to submit it

uh for uh this particular scholarship as far as I

know okay thanks a lot I proba ask something but then took it back uh if

they're going to revise it we're waiting here um so yeah like what do you like what do

I do when if I see a scholarship that I'm interested in you can just click on them and go to the page of the

scholarship that we have which will give you a lot of information from the level of study um host institution scholarship

type uh eligible subject blah blah blah deadlines are here so then what it covers um for example this one is a full

funding scholarship so it covers tuition fees it covers Visa costs health and liability insurance pre training costs

and then a typen based on like your program and

then we have eligibility criteria here we have application procedure we have scholarship deadlines usually we made a

lot of videos about uh a lot of scholarships like like demonstrating uh

how they work what what they are blah blah blah so usually we have a video on our pages right now you can click on

them uh to see that um by the way we have comment section on the bottom of our every page that we have uh I highly

advise you to utilize that because uh every single question that are left here

are like they're answered by Yan Lee who is the founder of global scholarship Global scholarships and I mean every

single question I've never seen a single question question that went unanswered so other than that if you get want to

get even more information you can just click on official scholarship page to go and see the scholarship directly from

the University uh like like this one for example and then you can like use that page maybe

contact the university blah blah blah so yeah that's how our website our Search tool basically works I love it in terms

that like I use it all the time basically you go from the point you have no idea what to do what scholarships

there are to the point where you know the scholarship you know what it covers

you know the requirements you know like how to apply to it to the point where we can like go to their page and maybe

contact the university so really takes you from zero to the end end point so yeah um s it asked best scholarships for

medical students um I think we a

probably have a video about that but I'm not sure might be medical might be about medical schools so yeah you can use

to uh you can use our Search tool now here's the thing if you're looking scholarships that are specifically for

medical school or medical students uh you can just choose medicine

here right um so these are the ones again the first ones that you will see

are the scholarships that specifically mention medicine like for example young

scientist scholarship in chungang University South Korea for Masters and PhD students this is full funding it is

for engineering students medicine Natural Science and nursing and pharmacy um and then there are a lot of uh there

will be a lot of like all subjects but then again that is only available for

you if the university offers medicine as a program so like you can look at those if you're interested in a specific one

uh maybe we can help you a little better for example uh also you can choose like full funding here if you're only

interested in those uh usually there are not that many for Bachelors but yeah you

can look at those as well um so I contacted the embassy and they said it's important to give eju exam to be

eligible for um I think that's what aan said I believe do you

have any questions about that I like have to do that or something maybe uh we can help you with that uh Samir says can

you tell me a little bit about scholarships in Romania I mean universities that give scholarships in Romania or government scholarships so

yeah we do have some information um about the government scholarships you

can go to scholarships popular government scholarship section and

then scroll down to Romania and choose Romanian government scholarships also uh

we have recently made a video tutorial of how to apply to Romanian uh Romanian

government scholarships um hi there dxz um I'll get back to you in a second

uh other than that I don't know much about um like University scholarships in

Romania we don't have any of those in our database um Aman would you like to

say something about the University scholarships in Romania um yeah so that that's the only

one I know of U I don't think that many universities in Romania offer

scholarships anyway especially to International students um so I think that's The Big

Unit sorry big scholarship you can apply uh for is the Romanian government

scholarship okay thanks um so we long

question um all right from dxz I'm from India and as you know there

are many problems here in terms of education jobs salaries and a better quality of life because of these

challenges most Indian students want to move to other different countries for better education job opportunities and

improved lifestyle I'm also facing the same issues I come from a poor family and I believe that moving to a different

country could help me improve my life however I have a low GPA of around 3.1

out of four in computer science my question is should I consider pursuing a second bachelor's degree in computer

science I'm considering this option because I'm not receiving positive responses from people due to my low GPA

uh when applying for master programs so um what okay ju I have just

one question and then I'll just uh like give the microphone to uh Amon why do

you not consider doing a master's degree first in your country to increase your

GPA and then apply like foreign scholarships uh for a PhD program uh

like is that something you did not consider or is that something you considered and then decided not to I'm

just curious about that um Aman what do you think about

this um I'm with you on this I think pursuing a master's degree would be more

productive because if you try to pursue another undergraduate degree that would be at least another four years MH or

maybe three three four years depending on uh the the

program um so I would probably just uh

do one year of Masters or two years like Master one

master two depending on uh the system in your

country and then try to apply for uh another Masters abroad because um I

don't think it's very productive to pursue the same degree again in the same

subject for another three years uh that would be a complete waste of time so

there there is that or you can just sit for standardized exams like the gr

MH um I think uh if you think you can do

uh well in standardized exams you could uh

basically put into perspectives your abilities and you try to convey that

your GPA doesn't really reflect your true level and doing that might help

with your applications uh given that you're saying that the only thing that's stopping you

from getting admission is your quote unquote low GPA all right okay thank you very much

so um first we have a question in the middle from eroy is Ireland good for CS

uh what do you think about that Aman look a very quick answer um the quickest answer is yes I I

don't think if you named any country that the answer would be no uh most

universities offer uh quality education or most

countries offer quality education uh when it comes to computer science and stem in general so you can't go wrong

with any country you choose Ireland is a great option and it all just boils down

to your preference uh of where you want to study

and probably scholarship opportunities uh your finances and

whether you can afford to live in Ireland so the biggest questions are there not

really the quality veg ation because um in most countries you w really be

disappointed all right so Samir follows up saying I got some Ops from UK universities is there any chance if I

talk to them give me a scholarship to cover the tuition fees because I'm from Syria that have ongoing war or is it

impossible or or it's impossible uh I meant that if the university doesn't give a scholarship to

cover the tuition fees is there any chance to give a scholarship to cover all tuition fees to someone just because

is in war so there are specific scholarships that are available for uh

people from like War zones um especially in United Kingdom um there are a couple

of those like I would look for like Sanctuary scholarships um Asylum Seekers

so hang on let me see for example um let's say United

Kingdom and usually they are full fun to yeah for example like Sanctuary

scholarship Sanctuary Awards so like I think these would be um available for

you so like if that that's the that's the situation but getting an offer from a

university and then asking them if they can give you a scholarship I'm not sure about that because like I don't know uh

like what university that is or what uh procedures do they have um

Aman what do you think about

this um yeah so the UK is probably uh the country with um the most

universities offering scholarships to students uh suffering from uh

displacement because of War MH um so

there are scholarships there but if you're just like for for for this specific purpose yes there are

scholarships I'm not sure if they're fully funded um but they are available otherwise uh

in the UK scholarships are really scarce and uh as we talked about this last week

uh most of them just drop tuition fees to domestic

student uh tuition fees so uh in the UK okay domestic students pay around

£99,000 and international students on average pay 14,000 and most universities just give

you a scholarship of 5,000 to 6,000 going into your tuition fees to drop it

down to that level of 9,000 10,000 um

so your best bet is to apply for scholarships that are for display students for students seeking Asylum for

students seeking Sanctuary uh rather than uh regular

scholarships offered by universities okay thank you so Dix set

says hey I think it's a good idea to do a master's degree from India and hi there kuruku great to see you here and

after that apply for second Master's or PhD uh you can apply for PhD there

are more that there are a lot of scholarships for PhD abroad um

especially if you want to study I think was computer science hang on yeah

computer science so I'm not sure why you are so insistent on uh doing the same degree abroad after doing it in your own

country but I guess doing like directly going for PhD would make more sense I

believe okay today we have a long question so utar asks can gesso be combined with other scholarships like

Max or university specific grants or do they require exclusive acceptance if a

student secures partial uh funding from gesso uh what are the best strategies to

acquire additional funding from external sources how do Japanese universities particularly research focused

institutions like n University balanced integration of international students into their highly

structured academic research environments considering cultural linguistic and methological differences

in education system additionally have does this integration impact long term okay that's all right what did you did

you got that question from like CPT why is it so why is it so different than

other uh if you did that do not do that okay like ju just ask your question in

your own uh words and we'll try to uh like we'll try to communicate in our own

words all right uh okay so let's first uh uh go through the first question uh

can that scholarship be combined with other scholarships like Mex or university specific grants or do they

require exclusive acceptance if a student secure partial funding uh what are the best strategies to acquire

additional funding from external sources um I don't know the exclusivity of that

specific scholarship Aman do you have any idea about

that um so yes you can combine it with other grants uh provided that the stien

the compiled stien by uh the other Grands would not exceed 80,000 Japanese

y so that is the only restriction so you can't combine it but you can just exceed

880,000 Japanese Yen uh per month as a a living allowance or

S all right so concerning the second question I'll just spare you uh just

going through it uh I I don't I really don't know okay right so uh yeah so the

like uh in short the answers are yes and we do not know and all right so we don't

have any new questions right now um yeah so we have our Search tool

are like full funding big scholarships for example let's click on Canada and we

have as you can see a lot of people who have received scholarships from Canada you can click on any one of these people

and then read their stories uh from the summary like the University degree scholarship previous education their

Journey um like how did they prepare to apply uh what do they think made the

replication stand out for example this is a question uh oh no no no no no no there's nothing

to be sorry uh I just like so because there were like um CT marks and it was

like a very differently structured that that's what I thought just just like let's uh it's it's not a big deal don't

worry uh so yeah um what was I saying so this one

is a question that like we get asked a lot what like how can I make my scholarship make my scholarship

application Stand Out among others applications so yeah you can read uh

what like so many people so many scholarship recipients think made their

application Stand Out Among like a lot of people and these ones are like these

scholarships like when it comes to veneer Canada graduate scholarship or like let's say I don't know let choose

another country uh Japan like me like these are scholarships that are let get

that get a lot of applications so like I think it's a really important like it's really important to see like what they

think made their application Stand Out Among so many people if you want to study if you want to apply to those

types of scholarships all right uh so Usman Khan says in my

country um education after 10th is divided into premedical biology chemistry physics and pre-engineering

math physics chemistry can premedical students apply for a bachelor's in

computer science h i okay so uh we are assuming those are

like two years after 10 um so okay there that's a very

specific question what what country is that um Aman what do you think

[Music] um yeah I mean it's it's a bit uh

confusing but as a premedical student uh

do you only study biology chemistry and physics is that it you don't study

math uh at all because I'm pretty sure that there would be a

requirement uh for admission to have a certain level in math or to have studied uh a

certain certain aspects of math in high school in order to be admitted

but for the most part I can't see anything about it so you could be fine um the thing I

would do if you're seriously considering applying to any University offer any

computer science program is to just get in touch with them and and ask if you would be eligible this is the safest way

to go about it uh and they would happily uh reply to you in a timely fashion so

you'll get a reply very very quickly and from there you can decide if you want to

apply um okay thank uh thank thank you very much um I prob we're not from USA I

don't know what made you think that uh we're not neither of us from United States um he says as you and Aon are

from uh USA I want to know which job market will be booming in upcoming times

like a renewable energy according to your opinion and experience so like first of all we

neither of us are from United State right Aman yes I'm not I'm yeah yeah just like

I also I just realized I don't know about you all that uh so yeah we're not

but what do you think will be also like do you mean in specifically in United

States or in general with that question uh but aan like let's let's get your

ideas about what do you think will be booming in upcoming time sorry is your job market by the

way uh I mean I don't see the AI shifting much at least for the first

able future um yes I I'm now seeing

some jobs that are specifically for AI agents which is quite interesting so if

you're an AI developer you're probably going to be uh

in a good position uh looking forward because it's basically your AI agent is

doing work for other people so you have your own uh AI doing work which means that

one you're placing a person but at the same time uh I think it's the same

people so those jobs would have been for uh people specializing in computer

science somehow uh but it could also be just people doing data entry so these

these jobs that are mainly data ENT would be uh not as present as they are

these days um yeah so the AI would keep the AI Market will keep booming uh

renewable energy is something that uh will keep uh booming as well because um I

think every country now is looking for alternative ways of uh generating energy

um I think people keep uh also going for business

degrees um because most universities or most admissions I see uh are for uh

business degrees and I think people see a lot of future in that MH

um other than that um not quite

sure uh to what other areas would actually see a significant growth in the

near future I I would say that areas combining Humanities and science would

be uh quite big at least in the near future um

because people have always had interest in Humanities and

since the world now re revolves around stem uh I think the need for having a balance

between the two of having um degrees that combine the two is is great because

it encapsulates people's interests but at the same time it doesn't take away

from their job perspectives in the future because if you only pursue

Humanities your chances of getting a lucrative job are not great and if you

pursue stem you have greater chances of doing that but if you find a balance between the two uh degrees like say

computational Linguistics where it's Linguistics from Humanities computer science uh that are combined into one

degree uh that that is something that uh people will keep pursuing probably for

the foreseeable future right thanks um so also for my

like personal opinion one thing that really is like I like my

subject is not AI or renewable energy I come from a economics background so like

the from what I am seeing in the discussion in economics uh Academia uh

the whole thing is that like first of all we are not seeing like 40 years 50

years long careers uh anymore like that's that's something that belongs to

past like starting like from now um people are like changing careers

changing what they do uh in like every 10 years 20 years technology is changing

uh job markets are changing completely like we thought AI is going to like

transform everything very fast but now it looks like it's going to stay here as a component of what we are already doing

pretty much so I think uh aan is quite um

right in saying like I think finding a balance like not just putting all your

eggs in just one basket makes more sense like if you want to um have like a lot

of options in the future because like there is a chance that if you are if you go for a very specific career that

career will not be uh there like in 10 years in 15 years I think energy is

something that will be very big for quite a while I think like you can choose a topic like that and

just like study on that um maybe a little bit more in a more General way

maybe uh like you like it's always we say renewable energy is the future renewable renewable energy is the Future

Okay renewable energy is the future uh that was what we were saying uh when I was a child and I'm I'm 30 and it's

still not here like it's we do not know how uh far in the future future it is so

like I think um it is like there is a very there's a very real possibility

that non-renewable energy will be the big thing as long as we live so yeah I

think finding a balance uh between two subjects or two uh areas of study uh is

the best way to have like good opportunities for jobs because uh like

even companies or now more aware that like people will be need to be

educated uh like you will not get people from the job market that are perfectly

qualified for the jobs that you want them to do because those jobs did not exist two years ago or something like

that so yeah I think this is our personal opinion okay utor has another question

sir uh one main thing if you have contacted any other student who got Mex scholarship from India please add their

story because when I contacted Embassy they said 60% is criteria but one

website Embassy of Japan is inia website is written 80% certain in recent

years uh in their website of studying in Japan which has PDF full of the scholarship but

privately fund local scholarship mix J sir but it don't classify them which don't mind then I can share with you and

you can help me better or or not so hang on first of all

um I think you have some people uh that got maxed from

India I might be um remembering it wrong let me see

that uh okay so let's use Japan

here so okay Mex

scholarship an Indian national wins the max scholarship to pursue her PhD in

physics at so for example you can look at this um I think you're looking for

Bachelors was it yeah you were looking for Bachelors but you can look into these um in terms

of um I think it's I also remember it as

80% um contact the embassy uh did you go to

to their website like the embassy of uh Japanese Embassy in India because they usually have like uh scholarship

guidelines and so like it kind of depends on the embassy

too um hang on so Japan another Master

scholarships uh Indian so this person chemical

engineering next okay so it's also Masters

so let's see these other people have you checked all of these

out um Masters and this

is see Bachelors Indian student Mex fully

funded uh bachelor's degree in electrical engineering so maybe you want to look at this

one so let me share the link with you you can get more uh Insight from this um

they are not from recent years I mean 2024 2023 because now the guideline

changes uh so soar I also remember it as being 80% um

Aman um I think you had time also time to uh look this up uh I

um I I'm pretty sure you get better information than we do um yes it's 80% like on the

Japanese Embassy in India so they have listed it as 80% in 12th 11th or 10th

grade uh to be required so I will also send you the link if you

want to share it oh I'm pretty sure they got to the same page but I sent you the link yeah um let's Okay let me just

check the link uh just to show everyone uh I'm not sure what

happened there uh with I'm telling you it's 60% maybe uh wait

what all okay

so okay 80% minimum 80% uh maybe it was some it was about something else maybe

some other scholarship or maybe they've told you uh there could be a specific

case that it is like then % is acceptable um I think like some of the

universities I get more than 80% in 10 75 in uh 75 and 12 will I be eligible

so minimum marks in 12th or I think the

latest one is it the latest one that counts like 12th year or because it says

or 11th or 10th

any do you have any idea not at all so they have different

conditions for uh different countries right so I'm not sure um about this one

particular okay so like I'm not sure about that that's a great question

because um so minimum of 80% marks in

12th or 11th or 10th grade are required which from which you can surmise if you

got 80% in 11th you should be Ava you should be

eligible uh but [Music] also like a minimum of 12th 11th or 10th

year should be 80% like none of them should be below 80% could also be what

they mean um but when you called the embassy

they've told you 60% well that okay first of all that like it doesn't say that anywhere and I

I'd be really surprised if that's the case maybe some like some un

universities could accept 60% Aman am I wrong like both of the

meanings can be uh surmised from this sentence like either one of them should

be 80% at least or none of them should below should be below

80% uh like both meanings can be like what this means

right um they're saying or 11th or 10th which

means that like when I read it just by reading it I I think you can submit your

11th grade Mark if it's 80% or you can submit your 10th if it's

80% um but I'm not sure if they're implying that none of them should be

below uh yeah it's really hard to infer anything from this sentence yeah I think I think so too uh

maybe what you could do with G you could look at um like other embassies like

Indian Embassy like a Japanese Embassy in India is what matters but maybe you can get some ideas from how they word

worded the specific situation like this eligibility and maybe like they have a

better uh like better way of sentencing this

I'm not sure like this is what matters like uh it doesn't matter what it says in another country's Embassy but maybe

that will give you an idea and yeah this is 2024 uh might change application guidelines

Japanese government uh so this is 2025

uh okay so let's see Preparatory education University Education Direct Direct placement

qualifications academic background so let's

see um

okay applicant have complete 12 years who have completed

their um I don't see have successfully passed an academic

qualification examination that is equivalent yeah there's I don't think

there's anything here maybe we can search like this yep nothing about that

here too all right but keep in mind that that

does not answer your question all right so like if maybe another Embassy says

that like um if one of these uh is above

80% you're eligible that does not mean it goes for you just like maybe you can

get a better idea about like what they are about okay apro says is geopolitics

important for students who want to move move study abroad I would think so uh

because like G politics does not only matter in terms of like what countries

are um like when you say geopolitics people usually think about like Wars and

like peace treaties uh like trade deals etc etc but it also like what also

matters is like what country uh needs for example uh newcoming students uh like

highly skilled labor uh what country is like having a an immigration crisis

perhaps uh so yeah all of those also are in geopolitics and I think that's like

understanding that like having at least a basic understanding of that would really help um Aman what do you

think yes I'm with you so I basically you summed it up pretty well

so uh geopolitics plays a role of course when it comes to uh studying abroad it

probably wouldn't really um matter to you as a student because at

the end of the day it's the decision is not yours yeah uh but they play a role

in who what students uh get a get admitted to what

universities uh your Visa so it's part of

it they are important but I'm not sure if they are important in the sense uh

the question implies it like uh if they're going to affect you

once you're there I don't think so but before yes they play a great role also

like um I think it might help you in like knowing what kind of opportunities

are uh because that's like that's an evolving thing like some country there are countries that used to be uh very

welcoming to uh foreign students or maybe for a specific subject some

countries are interested in uh like their education system is interested in a specific subject a specific uh study

and after maybe something they are not as much so for example one thing that might have a really a big effect right

now is the fact that like the relationship between United States and Europe uh like there's like those

relationships if this keeps going on might really change and like Europe uh

might start to like decide they have to redefine themselves and redefine their

um like Independence in terms of a lot of things uh from like for example in my country a

lot of people are now saying oh you know what uh maybe like self maybe like

defense budgets are going to increase maybe those those stuff uh will be more um interesting for a lot of universities

blah blah blah because they haven't really invested in a lot of those areas for a very long time and maybe they will

decide to do that so yeah like there's some stuff that you maybe you will not realize or notice that is affecting you

but like yeah uh that can change that can really change attitudes uh against um towards International

students or like what you want to study for example uh your resource subject does really

affect uh how you are received in term like especially if you are like a

master's student a PhD student Etc so yeah I think in that sense it might be

important anyway so uh one more thing that I want to uh show you and then

we're going to see the scholarships in sing one University in South Korea so uh

we also under our scholarship stories we also have admission and scholarship results these are great uh these are

basically the results like the admission results that we've gathered um around

the world but mostly United States um so as you can see we have like

thousands of entries here of people who have applied to universities specific

universities and whether they are accepted or not for example this a person from Turkey um with sat uh

1520 um no information about expected family contribution GPA 4 and they got

fully funded scholarship and they got accepted to University of Richmond um like this might if you want to

especially if you want to study in United States this might give you a very good idea you can search let's say uh

Princeton right you want to study in Princeton so uh you can search it and

see like there are a lot of uh applications that are rejected and you

can like kind of compare these and try to see like what's important for the

University or like what where you would Place yourself so yeah this might be really useful you just need to scroll

down uh here we have Admissions and scholarship results so all right so today's topic uh we're

going to talk about scholarships every single scholarship hang on yeah every single scholarship

in s one University in South Korea and we don't have like we don't need a link

or something for this you can just go to Global scholarships.com okay before we can even start uh we have

another question me melis melis asks is there specific schoolarship for displ student

for undergraduate if there I wonder uh to give me since I can't find any browsing on Google thanks for your help

so we've talked about this um there are scholarship that are specifically for um

like Asylum Seekers or sanctu Sanctuary scholarships we do not have um a

specific guide I believe or um a filter to find those but what you could you

could do is you could like hit enter a lot of those are uh in United Kingdom by

the way uh you can choose bachelor's here choose maybe United Kingdom and see

like they're usually they're named uh Sanctuary W

um Asylum Seeker um yeah so you could uh

search these words in our database and see those for example let's say let's

let's search Sanctuary right sorry um let's see what do we get if we search

the word sanctuary all right IIT

enter we have 14 in our database so uh as you can see they're usually in United

Kingdom one in Ireland so you can click on these to see like what they cover get

more inform information about those um also you can like look at um Asylum

Seeker I mean we do not have a filter for that uh like there is no certain way

that you can just click and see all of those uh but you can use um keyword um

search so you said you Googled but you couldn't find any answers Amon could you

give them maybe some advice on how to find that type of scholarships I mean I was exactly going

to suggest what you did uh either type in sanctuary or Asylum MH in uh our

research or our Search tool and most of these scholarships are there um other

than that just um look for Sanctuary scholarships for international students

and uh I'm pretty sure that uh most universities would pop up uh on top and

if they're offering them like you'll find them there all right thanks um okay

melis if you have any other questions let us know all right so wait um okay

so again today we're going to talk about uh songun one so let me show you you can just go to Global scholarships and type

in s Yung one uh click on the University so this is uh one of the best universities in South Korea uh it's a

really good University I think it was like um in top 100 in World at some point I'm not sure about now so it's in

Soul it's about 2 5,000 students seven scholarships uh these are the

scholarships that are given by the university there are also external scholarships we're going to see those two and we have admissions information

here we have admission deadlines here as you can see there are different rounds and the tuition feeds about like hang on

by the way uh let me let me just

uh turn that to yes stay about like $88,000 $10,000 uh that range and then

we have scholarships so let me show you what it looks like what the university looks like again

Soul uh is kind of expensive especially when it comes to

accommodation so this is by the way like about a 600 years old this University is

um not this building obviously uh so like it's a very old University but it

like it kind of recently made into it was made into a college so yeah if you want to study in U South Korea it's a

really really good University and as you can see it has a

lot of um a lot of scholarships but as you can see it is kind of expensive in

terms of both um both both tuition now tuition like

$88,000 $10,000 is way affordable than other a lot of other places uh in for

example United States Canada Australia uh but in terms of like Asia when

compared to like most universities in Japan China Taiwan or even Korea it's on

the higher end uh like $10,000 so yeah it's both expensive in that way but also uh you're going to be

living in Soul so it is also expensive like your living cost will be high I

think it's about like they estimate your accommodation to be about 600 to 700 uh

dollar uh the University estimates that so it's great that it has uh multiple uh scholarships and we're

going to see those but aan uh first of all how would you like to like uh kick off uh with your opinions uh on the

University perhaps about in general studying in South Korea uh what do you

have to say um so studying in South Korea is

probably something we recommend regularly whenever it comes up whenever there are questions about it whenever

there are questions about what countries uh to go to if you want to

study abroad um South Korea is one of those countries that is

undeniably uh a great destination for most International students not only

because of the quality of education but also because of the scholarships that uh

Korean universities offer um there are many many uh

scholarships that are offer offered just on the basis of your language

proficiency exam which is something we don't find in many countries probably

South Korea is the biggest country when it comes to that so uh the scholarships

can go up to full tuition just because you have a high score on your eyelets

tofo uh or any accepted exam by the university same thing for the topic exam

if you uh can speak

Korean um the biggest probably the biggest scholarship that is offered by

the uh Korean government is the global Korea scholarships which uh we talk

about almost every week as well it's a fully funded scholarship that you can

either pursue through universities or through the embassy of South Korea in

your own country um many uh universities in South Korea

are high ranked they are all within well well not all but the top ones are uh

within the top 100 in the world uh which is which just speaks volumes about uh

the country's investment in education I think that uh many of the top universities are

even harder for Korean students to get into yeah um so many many universities

are compared to uh the biggest universities in the

United States or the UK so they're they have the

same um the same position as say

uh the Russell group in the UK for example so so it is really really hard

to get into them and uh for an international stud to get into those is

is a really big deal um yeah so it's a country that values education it's a a

great country to live in and um I think

regardless of the University we're going to tackle uh it's always going to be uh

a good University good scholarships and we're going to see that uh with this

particular one okay thanks a lot so yeah again uh this is the school guys it's

it's a really good University now uh in terms of scholarships we have a couple

of them for undergraduates and then about three four graduates from this

University and then we have external scholarships one of them is is a global career scholarship their government

scholarship which uh we have made a tutorial video um application tutorial

but it was for graduate students um a application tutorial for undergraduates

is also upcoming uh possibly in a couple of weeks um we have other ones as well

we're going to see those but first let's start with undergraduate scholarships so we have skku Global leader scholarship

both both type A and type B so uh we have we have our pages about this these

two so basically the difference is that um type A is for people from countries

that receive official development assistance from oecd uh that have fewer than three

students enrolled in skku so uh basically these countries these are national ities that are eligible for

this one this is a partial funding scholarship meaning meaning it covers just like 50% of tuition which is uh

which still leaves a lot of uh financial burden to carry uh but if you want to

study in this University uh this will this will still go a long way since like

uh this might mean about $5,000 every year so yeah this is the scholarship uh

this is the eligibility criteria again uh from a country that is uh receiving official development assistance from

oecd this is the application procedure um which is as you can see you don't

have to apply separately for this you apply to the university we have the deadlines here again I cannot stress

this enough uh just like if you have any questions about this scholarship just leave it here and like and he will

tackle that for you no problem so other than that you can click on official scholarship page to see more about this

University but before that that we also have a type B of the same scholarship which is again a 50% uh tuition free

discount now what is the difference between a and b so B is for all

nationalities but you have to be an award winner of an international mathematics science or informatics

Olympiad or a related field achieved during your high school years grades 10

to 12 so basically this like pretty much the same scholarship um even the

application is the same you don't have to apply for the scholarship uh it's just 50% tuition discount and like for

for sorry sorry am did you say something oh

no no I was just goofing sorry oh okay okay all right so uh the only difference is that to get this one you need to be

from a country that receives official development assistance from OCD to get

this one does your nationality does not matter uh but you need to be an award winner of these uh you can get more

information from the University so these were the first two um these are not

amazing scholarships uh compared to other uh scholarships that we're going to see in a second so uh we have two

more uh the first is Samsung Global song scholarship for foreign students uh so

this is full tuition but it can go up to um full funding and I mean normally when

it can go up to like tuition plus uh some other things we usually categorize

these as full funding why is this full

tuition do you have any idea I think it's just a mistake this should be fully

funded okay so go ahead sorry I don't no

I'm just so I'm just going to check it out all right so this is the most comprehensive and generous scholarship

this that this university has this is for Bachelors usually you don't see a

lot of very generous full funding scholarships at for Bachelors uh it's full tuition or full

funding we're going to see um that remains to be seen eligible nationalities all nationalities there

are no specific subjects um the deadline is passed though so what it covers it

covers up to this by the way there are like uh lower like lower ranges of this

scholarship that covers less than this uh but at top it covers 100% of tuition and entrance fees uh

57,000 uh South Korean wands per month which wouldn't be enough to cover maybe

like it would cover uh 50% of your uh living costs priority dormatory

assignment full coverage of dorm fees so your dormitory which again would be

about $600 $700 could be um covered for by this and

participation in an exclusive C counseling program and a one-on-one monitoring program with an expert in the

field you choose so yeah as Aman said they really value education and then we

have the application procedure here and we have the deadlines here we made a video on this you can see that

separately by just clicking here and watching that as you can see this is a very popular scholarship uh and this is

answered I don't know how he does it um but somehow he finds time and um like

so so again this one was what uh Aon talked

in Korea that like there's a u there's a test called topic test of proficiency in

Korean and and basically in a lot of universities you get like an automatic

um scholarship like tuition discount based on your uh level of that um test

so this is that one admission scholarships we're going to see this uh we have one Merit based scholarship but

this is uh not for newcomers this is from 2 to 8th semester and this is the one we were talking about Samsung Global

sunun scholarship for foreign students so we have a and b benefits so

nomination is pretty much the same will be held among remarkable freshman interview may be held if needed

nomination result will be notified individually so basically you do not apply for this scholarship separately

you go to the university you start your education and then they kind of consider you okay this uh this student is great

so let's give them this scholarship uh so as you can see for a and

b um it is kind of the same um eligibility

criteria but if you get the A1 okay so if you get the B1 full full dues for

four academic years so your tutions are paid uh but if you get A1 full dues for

four academic years and then living expenses priority blah blah blah extensive so even if you do not get the

full scholarship there is also a full tuition section of this scholarship I

think that might be why like there was a mistake in categorizing this as uh full tuition because it is either full

tuition or full funding so yeah if you do not get this and get this still uh

you co like it covers your tuition fees so it's a great scholarship usually don't find this

generous uh scholarships um for Bachelors so yeah this is the one and

then we have admission scholarships um again this is full tuition all nationalities uh pretty much

the same past deadline it covers your 10% to 100% of your tuition fees uh you

just need to be an international Bachelor student blah blah blah you can get more information from here there's also no application needed for this one

too uh you can leave your questions here or click here to go and see their official scholarship page which is the

same page so uh this is admission scholarships separated application for

admission scholarship is not required an applicant can and check the nomination result and amount they receive at the

same time of admission announcement basically 10 to 100% including entrance

fee will be waved for remarkable freshmen so basically when you apply if

your application shows that you are a remarkable student um maybe you will get

an admission scholarship from one to 100% dues if you're really really good

uh you can get this Samsung Global songyong scholarship which is uh which covers like B covers your full tuition

and if you're really good like great at the top uh you also get like uh

dormitory blah blah blah uh monitoring and your uh living

expenses so yeah um so I'm not going to close

this page because uh we're going to need to use graduate side of this so this was

the scholarships for undergraduates again so these two uh were one for people uh from countries uh

receiving assistance development assistance from OCD OCD uh one is from

for people uh who have received Awards you can see that and one is like

basically these are kind of uh part of the same group of scholarships like uh

if you're admission is good you'll get admission scholarships if it's great you will get either full tuition or full

funding from Samsung Global Sun scholarship for foreign students so yeah

these are the four scholarships basically it goes from like 10% of tuition fee to pretty much everything

and then we have graduate scholarships um we have three of those uh graduate

school affiliated scholarships admission scholarships and stem scholarships so graduate school affiliated scholarships

basically they you get those from uh The Graduate School the department you are

in which is why they kind of um depend on the program this is for Masters and

PhD uh like subjects blah blah does not matter nationality does not matter um

application is open by the way uh right now and then this could this you have to

be an incoming International graduate student at SKU skku sorry holding excellent academic

records outstanding research performance so partial funding of tuition and

admission fees so you can click here to go

see um which does not take you to the page that it

should or does it hang on right so basically you can see that

here too uh so this is graduate school affiliated

scholarships um it's just partial amount of the tuition fee selected International students who graduated

from SK kuu with outstanding hang

on no this is not it a mbase scholarship

Merit based so this is stem General

school affiliated scholarships but it says International students who have

graduated from skku um aan am I reading this wrong is

there is there a mistake here is this not the scholarship that or uh guy talks

updated in uh a little bit it also does not make a lot of sense like so like

International students then who graduated from skk does not make a lot of sense though yeah so it's not income

in on International students it's just uh students who are who already studied

at the University that's odd okay so this remains to be seen like uh if we get

more information we'll fix the um guide but for now this is one of the

scholarships they offer to International students which yeah um maybe it has an insanely specific

eligibility criteria on which is like having to graduate having graduated from skku not sure about that uh so yeah it

covers go ahead no I think this one has shouldn't have been there in the first

place uh because well the name is just a giveaway it says that they already

affiliated with the graduate school which means that they have a pursue

their undergraduate at the University which is not the kind of uh

scholarships we pursue so I'm just going to delete it all right okay all right

guys so this one is uh getting the knife basically um so this that this one was

that uh and then we have admission scholarship which also we can see here

um pretty much the same uh 17 50 25 or 10% of admission fee and tuition for the

first semester uh International students accepted to Humanities social sciences or art departments and selected based on

the admissions evaluation result so yeah this is not for stem but also we have a

stem scholarship which we're going to see in a second um but let's first put

the page yeah the this is basically the information uh because I'm showing you

showing this to you because sometimes like scholarships get some of the information not just uh from the

University scholarship page uh but like their other Pages as well uh which also

always helps like if you're um if you're looking for an information from a university in Asia let's say or from any

country that speaks like uh any other language uh you can just go and look at

their pages in English they usually have those but it also really helps to uh see

the page in in its native language using like translation uh like Google translate or something like that because

that information is usually better like updated more recently so yeah and

sometimes like Global scholarships also does that so we can get more information here than you can get from the University in English um so yeah not

much of a difference here eligibility criteria application procedure uh

deadlines blah blah blah pretty much the same so this is an admission scholarship like the first one we've seen but this

is specifically for graduate students and then we have again as I said a stem scholarship engineering and medicine all

nationalities April 5 it is still open up to 100% of tuition fees uh

600,000 South Green wands as initial settlement fund extra scholarships

during the research semester for PhD students so um it also kind of looks

like uh a full full funding scholarship I'm not uh maybe some of these are not

uh really related to this specific scholarship but like extra scholarships

I'm not sure if that's the reason but this also kind of looks like a full funding

scholarship um Aman Am I

Wrong um yeah that would be uh fully funded all right so we have stem

scholarships eligibility criteria here and incoming International Masters and pH master or PhD student enrolling the

programs for Natural Sciences engineering or medical and then we have

procedure here um so yeah so this needs

unlike the other ones uh a separate application uh so you can get more

information from here recommendation from advising Professor blah blah blah we have the deadlines here and we also

have made a video about this one I think it was kind of uh more um popular ones

so here's the one candidate selected international student accepted to

Natural Sciences engineering or medical departments with qualifications and receive recommendations from advising

professors uh amount depends on the result of each Department's evaluation up to 100% of tuition PhD student can be

awarded with extra scholarship for the research enrollment uh um which is why

like we kind of advise you to like if you have done your bachelor's uh like instead of redoing

your bachelor's doing like maybe your Master's or PhD uh abroad because like

first of all doing research is all always uh more how would you say like

when you're doing a specific research it is usually easier to find a scholarship or any like financial aid that than

being just a bachelor student because like if you're depending on your research uh subject uh there can be like

projects like uh scient science projects that will that are looking to looking

for researchers to find to fund uh for example I during my PhD um like during

my PhD education period like lecture period I also got like not scholarships but I was helping on a like a like a

government science project uh like on history and I was getting funds like I

was getting paid and now I'm also doing like a pH my PhD dissertation also kind

of coincides with a another uh like research project uh and now I can also

get in that and like I maybe I will be funded through that as well so like when

you're doing research you are kind of like basically creating more information

uh which is which makes it easier for you to find funding uh from like maybe the

university maybe external institutions maybe government institutions so yeah uh

so you can be awarded with extra scholarships for the research enrollment semester and we have an initial

settlement fund and so stem scholarship continuation requirement recommendation

of the advising Professor sorry each semester so yeah basically if you are

studying uh stem you have a research and if that research is like deemed

important uh you can get like this can go up to full tuition with like settlement fund tuitions and like extra

financial aid maybe stien blah blah blah so yeah this is a really good scholarship if you uh if you want to

study stem which is one of the subjects that um Korea is kind of like in in an

educational context uh known for so yeah that was the last uh graduate

scholarship that this university has now we're going to talk about external scholarships um

shortly but first Aman I would like to have your opinion on the scholarships in

this University like the University scholarships basically um well first of all that last

one I think it is correctly stated or listed as full

tuition uh I think it's mainly because of the lack of a stipend since there's no stipend or

accommodation uh then uh it's just going to be full tuition the settlement fund

is like $400 for probably just a one time well it's probably one time but

it's just going to be there when you or you're going to be awarded that when you get there just one time and then all the

scholarship covers is your tuition fees so I I would say it's correctly listed

as full tuition um concerning uh the other

scholarships and given that most of them uh cover up to uh 100% of tuition

fees uh this particular University is uh

quite generous with the scholarships for undergraduate less so for undergraduate

students but for the most part [Music] for uh graduate students uh the

uh the scholarships are quite uh generous um I don't think there is

anything that stands out when it comes to these scholarships they are very standard they either cover tuition fees

and for the Samsung Global sunen scholarship for forign students it

covers a little a bit more than that so it covers a monthly stipend um accommodation fees uh and

it's probably the only scholarship that covers that much MH um yeah but for the

most part I think it's a university that is worth applying to worth considering

when you or if you want to study in South Korea um yeah I think uh that's it

consider considering I mean concerning the University scholarships before we

move to the external scholarships yeah so um up to full tuition is kind of really

uh like you have more than one tuition more than one scholarship uh that is

like giving you full tuition which you don't really see in a lot of universities and it is it is generous

for this scholarship um when you consider that it's a kind of like a high

uh high ranking University that has a a kind of like an unusually high uh

tuition fee for South Korea so like that that goes a long way and then we have external

scholarships we have Global Korea scholarship we have posco Asia Fellowship we have Samsung Global Hub

scholarships and we have Global scholarships.com $3,000 scholarship for International

students this is as you probably guessed given by um Global scholarships our own

platform um you can get more information by clicking on this so I'm not going to go into a lot of detail for a lot of

these scholarships because uh like they're not specific to this University there are like external scholarships so

the first one is obviously Global career scholarship is the most uh popular

scholarship I would say in South Korea it is one of the most popular government scholarships you can get more

information through here um by coming here and seeing like clicking on South

Korea um so it is offered to both um Bachelors Masters and PhD it is offered

by the government there are eligible countries there are a lot of eligible

countries and all of these countries by the way have their own codas and those change based on the institution you want

to study in and and the the application track you want to go

through basically these have like Embassy track you can apply through embassies or you can apply to direct

directly to universities seeing their um codas so yeah it's full funding for

Masters 3 years for PhD four years um yeah application deadline varies by

institution basically uh if you want to get more information about like General uh deadlines uh you can look at again we

have made a an application tutorial for um graduate students I wanted to do that

first because like the application period was still open uh so like it would make more uh it would be more

useful to a lot of people but we're going to also do another tutorial for uh undergraduate application anyway it

covers tuition fees airplane tickets living stien health insurance and research funding if you are a research

student obviously um you need to be from eligible countries they have like list

of those holding the required degree students with a GPA of 80% or higher or

in the top 20% of their class under the age of 40 with the exception of current academic professors from official

development assistance if they are under the age of 45 and good mental health

good mental and physical health so yeah application requirements are here we do

have like we we do go over those uh very comprehensively in our tutorial we have

deadlines here we have eligible institutions so basically there are like

your chances of getting like getting the scholarship kind of really changes a lot

based on how we uh how we apply not just like your application like uh how how

high your grades are uh or your test scores blah blah blah but it also like

to what from what country uh through what through Embassy or just directly to

the university and what universities you choose because like some universities are very competitive uh basically they

have like type A and type B universities universities that are in Soul and outside of Soul uh so like if you choose

a lot of very competitive universities even though you go through all the necessary steps of the scholarship you

will not be accepted to any Universities uh because like other people will be let in and they have kodas so yeah uh I

think like for this scholarship understanding the scholarship application procedure really really

really um affects your chances of getting the scholarship I would say for

some people even more than your uh degrees uh like grades etc etc so we

have a couple of people here uh we're going to like I'm pretty sure there are more uh who got that scholarship from

Indonesia from Morocco uh Etc so uh by the way there is there are no

comments here there are no questions because these pages are relatively new uh we have had um we've

had guides about these ones uh but they were here scholarships and let me show

you um we have two of those now so like this was the page that we have for this

uh scholarship and as you can see there are a lot of questions here but now we have also added um these like

scholarship type uh Pages for these like government scholarships so to give you more information by the way you can just

click on eligibility page here uh okay I cannot do that

now uh but you can click there to get like a lot of information from Embassy

blah blah blah and if you have any questions you can just leave them here so yeah uh that's basically it

government uh scholarship for Korea we have posco Asia Fellowship ship uh which

is offered by Poco TJ Park Foundation these are the eligible countries this is for Masters

and PhD uh is for these subjects aerospace engineering mechanic blah blah

you can read these uh these are the eligible institutions and for only 50 people and

it's full tuition and it's it's a company scholarship meaning it is given by a company so it's full ution it says

here but it also can cover living expenses uh 1.1 million Korean ones per

month and national health insurance and settlement fee as you can see some really big scholarships also cover your

insurance health insurance to get the scholarship you need to be an applicant who have re earned bachelor's degree and

show potential to grow into a leader in their respective countries applicants who plan to study in one of the

following nine Korean prestigious graduate schools and applicants must plan to pursue their major stem Fields

so yeah it's a stem scholarship basically given from a country company not a country uh application

requirements are here Asian citizenship English proficiency and G minimum

GPA right you can leave your questions here again and then we have Samsung Global

Hope Scholarship again another um company scholarship from Samsung

obviously uh very very influential in South Korea bachelor's Masters and PhD

um here are the countries programs do not matter this is not a stem scholarship these are the

countries uh and these are the eligible institutions as you can

see s here's a s one and also like uh Yonce is here too um a lot of like high

ranking universities in Korea for undergraduate it gives you uh 3.9

million South green ones per semester and for Masters and PhD 3.5 or 5 million

South green ones per semester uh here are the eligibility criteria uh again topic is really

important if you want to study in South Korea and we have application procedure blah blah blah you can get more

information I'm not going to go into it more detail and this is our again

do you want to say anything about uh external scholarship uh external Scholarships in this University before we end the live

stream um yeah so just one thing to point point out is that these uh

external scholarships are not exclusive to this University and I think that goes without saying but it's an important

disclaimer the fact that they're under this university only means that the university is eligible so if you want to

pursue any of these ex external scholarships uh this University is an

option to study it but they're not only exclusively uh offered there you'll find

the list of universities that are eligible on the scholarships page

um of course uh these uh scholarships are very generous scholarships very

competitive uh and as you explained about the global Korea scholarship is

that uh you can pursue it through uh Embassy or university and

there are quotas so you can see your country's quota uh on the official

websites of the global Korea scholarship um sometimes the quotas are

very very low like two three students per year uh and sometimes uh for some

countries uh the number is higher than that not much higher but uh you would

have more chances if you are from a certain country and I think that just

goes back to the geopolitics that yeah we talked about a little bit

before um yeah so I

think um since there are uh competitive

scholarships students should uh strive to have good

applications uh go for extracurriculars um have good grades uh

for students who are going for research programs uh it would be great if you can

contact uh professors and have an initial agreement that they agree to

supervise you that would immensely help um and for more information on these big

scholarships I always advise the people who watch these live streams to go to

our recipients Pages uh because they have gone through

the application process they have been through it all and most of them even welcome other students contacting them

and they leave their contact information there so you can go there uh and if

you're serious about applying um you can contact them they'll walk you through the application process

especially the interview those questions are not publicly available so you can

ask these students that have been through the interview portion of many scholarships to tell you how that goes

what kind of questions you could expect and uh I think this is a great

resource that you won't find anywhere El else except on our website so please

just use it and it would be uh a great

tool a great resource uh for you to secure a
