Doctor in Matthew Perry overdose case sentenced to 2-1/2 years in prison

A California doctor, Salvador Plasencia, was sentenced to 2½ years in prison for illegally supplying ketamine to “Friends” star Matthew Perry, whose 2023 overdose death was linked to the drug. Plasencia had pleaded guilty to four felony counts of illegal distribution, facing up to 40 years.
