At DSA, the International Defense Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Company Deftech has unveiled two variants of the new AV8 Gempita 8x8 armoured vehicle. The IFV-25 is the infantry fighting vehicle variant fitted with a one-man FNSS Sharpshooter Turret, armed with a Bushmaster 25mm automatic cannon. The second variant is the AFV-30, fitted with the South-African Denel LCT30, a two man turret with two-axis stabilisation and it is armed with a 30 mm GI-30 cannon and a FN Herstal MAG 58M coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun.
