<video:title>Meet Your Muse (8/11) Tiny Rituals That Keep Your Creativity Going</video:title>
<video:description>What if keeping your creativity alive didnt require a huge burst of inspiration? Sometimes its the tiniest things that keep us moving: a morning coffee, a five-minute sketch, an alarm that reminds us to create, keeping our supplies within reach, or simply showing up at the same time and saying, Now is the time that I paint. In todays Meet Your Muse, were talking about the tiny rituals that quietly become part of our creative process the little habits, reminders, and practices that help us keep creating even when were tired, distracted, perfectionistic, or not quite sure what were doing. Im also sharing some of the rituals that have helped me build my own creative practice, including (not excluded to): Morning routines and the rituals that fuel us The five-minute sketch Creating something bad on purpose to get past perfectionism The point isnt to create a rigid schedule or turn creativity into another obligation. Its about finding the tiny things that make creating easier to return to. Because sometimes five minutes really does matter. A few marks become a sketch. A sketch becomes an idea. An idea becomes a painting. And showing up again and again slowly becomes a creative life. So today, I want you to think about this: What tiny ritual could you add to your life that would help your creativity feel a little safer, easier, or more inviting? You dont have to completely clean your studio. You dont need hours of free time. You dont need to be perfect. You just need a tiny place to begin. And remember, you have permission to create something beautiful because you are beautiful. <video:title>Meet Your Muse What Does Abundance Mean to You?</video:title>
<video:description>What does abundance mean to you? For a long time, I thought abundance meant having a lotmillions, extras, more than enough. But lately, Im realizing that abundance can look a lot quieter than that. It can be a peaceful morning. A cup of coffee on the porch. Time to make art. The right tools and materials. Good friends. A community that shows up. Or simply having enough to feel safe enough to create. Todays Meet Your Muse conversation is about abundance, perspective, comparison, creativity, and what happens when we stop measuring our lives against someone elses. Because 202 followers might look very far away from 10Kbut those 202 people are still real people. Every follow, repost, message, and little bit of encouragement adds up. And thats really what Im learning through going LIVE: small actions can create huge ripples. We talk about creating with what you have, the difference between talent and passion, unfinished artwork, making time for creativity, building community, becoming a full-time creator, and why I believe so strongly that Art Can Change the World. Im not trying to be number one. I want to be a well-fed artist who gets to keep creating and impacting the world. So heres your prompt: What does abundance mean to you? Maybe its money. Maybe its time. Maybe its friendship. Maybe its peace. Maybe its simply having enough. Come have some coffee with me and think about it. And if youre enjoying these conversations, following and reposting genuinely helps me build this little creative universe. Lets see what happens when we all support each other. Small actions. BIG impact. <video:description>Today were hanging out in the studio, talking about art, checking in on some unfinished pieces, supporting other creators, and making something together. Im working on an older piece called My Love for You, talking about how my art has changed over the years, and looking at some of the projects currently taking up space in the studio. Were also joined by other creators because one of the things I care most about is supporting each other and building together. I want this space to be somewhere artists and creators can share what theyre making, learn from each other, and give each other a little moment of support. And eventually, were making the promised pour panel. You get to help choose the colors, and then you get to see what happens when we put those colors together. This episode includes a little look behind the scenes at how the pour panels are made, including the split cup and layering process. Along the way, were talking about something bigger than the paintings themselves. Ive been creating my whole life and have been in official business for five years. Now Im working toward 10K followers and the Creator Career Program because I want to keep doing this making art, sharing what Im learning, teaching others how to create and go LIVE, and continue building the creative community that has been growing around ACleaverArt. I may be a small local artist. But the ideas arent small. I believe art can change the world, and I want the things I make to encourage other people to make things too. So grab your coffee, pull up a chair, and come hang out. Were figuring it out as we go. <video:title>Creators- You Do NOT Have to Compare Your Journey to Anyone Else</video:title>
<video:description>During todays At the Table, we talk about the danger of comparing your progress to someone elses. Apples are not oranges. A number on a screen is a goal Im working toward, but it doesnt tell the whole story of what has already happened. When I started going LIVE, I had around 40 followers. Now were building toward 10K so I can qualify for the Creator Career Program and keep learning how to become a better LIVE creator. And Im realizing that the people who show up, repost, share, comment, and spend their time with me are already part of that abundance. We talk about creativity as having the tools, materials, time, skills or even just the willingness to try. And sometimes a project gets 95% finished because were missing one tiny piece. That doesnt mean the whole thing is worthless. Sometimes you share it anyway. Sometimes the story is in how far you got. Most importantly, this conversation is about small actions creating big impacts. You dont have to have everything figured out. You dont have to compare your beginning to someone elses middle. You dont have to wait until you have everything you think you need. Sometimes you just need enough to take the next step. And sometimes abundance is simply having people who will take that step with you. <video:title>Meet Your Muse (8-13) What Do You Want to Build?</video:title>
<video:description>What do you want to build? Todays Meet Your Muse is a slow morning coffee chat about dreams, motivation, creativity, and the tiny steps that actually help us build the lives we want. Sometimes we get so focused on the finished version of the dream that we forget to actually participate in the process. We think we need the perfect plan, the perfect schedule, the perfect amount of motivationor enough coffeeto begin. But what if we just started with one tiny step? In this conversation, I talk about what Ive been building with ACleaverArt, what the last month of showing up consistently has taught me, and why making time for art has resulted in more art than Ive made in a very long time. We talk about: What do you actually want to build? Why sharing your dreams can create accountability Building creative spaces that encourage other people to create Letting your dream evolve as you learn more about yourself Creating a life that feels balancednot just productive You dont have to build the biggest, best, most impressive thing. You can build something that makes you happy. You can build something that helps someone else. You can build something one tiny piece at a time. And sometimes, the most important question isnt How do I finish this? Its simply: What do I want to build? Then take one tiny step toward it. <video:title>From Artist to Storyteller What I Learned at the Table</video:title>
<video:description>After a month of At the Table with ACleaverArt, todays conversation is a chance to look around, notice what weve built, and ask what all this showing up has actually taught me. I spent the last month sharing artwork, telling its stories, talking about how those stories have changed, and keeping a promise to myself that I would keep showing up. And somewhere along the way, I learned something: Im not just a painter. Im a storyteller. Im a dreamer. Art has always been how I express myself, advocate, educate, question, connect, and turn the things inside my head into something another person can experience. This month helped me see that more clearly. In this conversation we explore: What I learned from showing up consistently Looking back at a month of At the Table Art as expression, advocacy, education, and connection Realizing that storytelling is at the heart of my creative practice Sharing the journey instead of trying to figure everything out alone Taking the weight of the world off your back Giving yourself grace during major transitions Moving from outside employment into building ACleaverArt full-time Remembering were human beings, not just humans doing Showing up for yourself even when thats all you accomplish Finding beauty in the tiny details Why writing and drawing arent as far apart as we think Supporting other creators and learning new skills The role stickers played in the evolution of ACleaverArt Making creativity accessible at different price points Why small creators dont necessarily have small ideas Supporting someone elses light without diminishing your own Building community instead of competing Learning what actually deserves our attention Letting rest be part of the creative cycle Authentic spaces, boundaries, and deciding what were ready to share Allowing our work and creative spaces to grow organically Asking for help instead of trying to juggle everything alone Finding flow and paying attention to where we focus our energy Building a creative universe out of shared moments, art, stories, an</video:description>

<video:title>Meet Your Muse Plant the Garden Even If It Doesnt Bloom Yet (8/01 pt 2)</video:title>
<video:description>Were taking Meet Your Muse outside today. This mornings conversation actually started inside, but when a friend needed a little encouragement to get outside and take a walk, we changed the plan. I grabbed the canvas, moved into the backyard, and turned our morning into something different. Because sometimes helping somebody else shift their perspective shifts ours, too. I share one of my own morning rituals: a simple two-minute reset where I walk the perimeter of my yard before going live. I notice whats growing, whats changed, what still needs work, and what Ive already built. Its less about checking the property and more about reminding myself: Look how far youve come. In this conversation we explore: Using a two-minute visual reset to shift your perspective Going outside and intentionally noticing whats around you Stopping to actually smell the flowers Seeing progress instead of only whats unfinished Dreaming about the spaces and lives we want to build Appreciating what we already have while still dreaming bigger Helping someone feel seen and understood Creating beautiful memories as a form of art Encouraging each other to take small actions Finding tiny bits of joy hiding in ordinary places For five years, I told myself I was going to plant a garden. This year I prepared the ground. I ordered the soil. I started the seeds. Then life happened. The cats destroyed my seedlings. It got too hot. My rose bush got run over. The beautiful garden Id imagined looked more like a grave than something waiting to bloom. I had every excuse not to plant it. But eventually I looked at those seeds and decided: You dont have to bloom this year. You dont have to bloom next year. But you have to be planted. So, I planted the effing garden. Maybe nothing comes up. Maybe next year there are sunflowers behind the African daisies and yarrow spilling around the stairs. I dont know. But every time I walk past that garden and tell it that its allowed to be exactly what it is right now, Im reminding myself of the same thing. Not every se</video:description>

<video:title>Create Some Kindness Meet Your Muse (8/01)</video:title>
<video:description>Its our first Meet Your Muse of August, and this morning were talking about something that might be just as important to a creative life as actually making the art: Showing up for each other. Sometimes we have no idea how much the tiny things we do affect another person. A friend says good morning. Someone notices when our normal pattern changes and checks on us. A person sees a need and quietly fills it. Another creator shows us what theyre working on and suddenly were swapping ideas, asking questions, and helping each other build something neither of us could have created in quite the same way alone. Those little moments matter. In this conversation we explore: How small acts of kindness can have lasting impacts Becoming a better friend while becoming more ourselves Creating kindness in our everyday lives Resting when the plans weve made arent what our bodies need Adjusting when life changes the plan The possibility of a free Art of Rest workshop Navigating transitional seasons Letting ourselves pause at the plateaus Checking on the people we care about The importance of feeling seen Why were not meant to carry everything alone Taking leaps of faith even when theyre scary Five-minute creative habits How art can be there for us when we feel alone Showing up before we have everything figured out Separating different kinds of creative spaces and sessions What Free-for-All Friday taught me about creating together Meeting creators working on entirely different dreams Supporting instead of competing with one another Making it safer for other people to share what theyre creating Giving ourselves permission to be loud, quiet, uncertain, boldor still figuring it out Building a creative life one small step at a time Yesterday I went live four different times. I had plans afterward, too. Dinner. Ice cream. Maybe even some late-night studio time. Instead, I overheated and ended up in bed. And this morning there was a message waiting for me from someone who noticed. Hey, are you all right? Thats support. Not demanding that </video:description>

<video:title>At the Table- Perspective Changes the Story Walk Me Home & Finding Joy</video:title>
<video:description>Today were talking about perspective, storytelling, and what happens when we allow the meaning of something to change as we change. I didnt come to the table with one particular artwork planned for todays conversation. Instead, were reflecting on what these past few weeks of sharing the stories behind my art have actually meantand how showing up, telling those stories, and connecting with all of you has changed the way I see them. And then someone handed me the perfect visual aid: A ridiculously tiny pair of sunglasses. They dont help me see particularly well, but they became a reminder that sometimes changing what we see is as simple as changing the lens were looking through. In this conversation we explore: How perspective changes the stories we tell Finding meaning in ordinary objects and moments Letting our stories grow instead of expecting them to stay the same Why art doesnt need to be perfector even serious Showing up as your authentic, playful self Supporting the people who support us Choosing get to instead of constantly living in have to Finding a few minutes for something that delights you Sharing creativity without turning every interaction into a sales pitch How art can help us find and express our truth Creating community through mutual support Paying attention to the beauty already around us Remembering that we dont have to carry the entire world alone Eventually, the conversation brings us to Walk Me Home, a painting that began as a pour and continued shifting until two figures emerged. To me, theyre moving through the fabric of reality togetherlight and darkness, nature and mind, different parts of ourselves finding their way toward a small doorway. And everybody wants to know: Whats on the other side of the door? Joy. Joy is always there. Maybe we dont need to carry the whole world like Atlas. Maybe we can put it down for a minute, change our glasses, grab somebodys hand, and carry what matters together. Thank you for continuing to show up, share your stories, look at the artwork with me, and he</video:description>

<video:description>FAST FORWARD TO 1:15:16 for our chat with @ChickenCoopUniverse about their comic!!! Welcome to Free-for-All Friday a café/studio session where the whole point is to try something, play around, share what were creating, and see what happens when we give ourselves permission to make without needing a perfect plan. Today were starting with an old sketch, a blank canvas, some Mod Podge, scraps collected along the way, hearts, paint, and absolutely no final vision. We revisit an older piece called Abandonment and the poem that eventually changed its meaning, talk about how our stories can grow with us, and turn another old sketch into the beginning of something completely new. Then the fluid paint comes out. We layer. We experiment. We make a mess. We change our minds. We rescue hearts from oceans of paint. We let the artwork tell us where it wants to go. Because sometimes creating isnt about knowing exactly what youre making. Sometimes its just about making the first mark. In this session we talk about: Free-for-All Friday and making space for creative play Revisiting old artwork with a new perspective Letting the meaning of our work change as we change Growing your own way Creating without needing everything to become a product Collage, Mod Podge and mixed-media experimentation Fluid art and letting go of some creative control Building artwork layer by layer Using old sketches and scraps in new ways Making art simply because it lights you up Returning to unfinished canvases Letting a few small marks completely change a piece Creative chaos and experimentation Supporting other artists instead of competing with them Why our strengths dont have to make someone elses strengths smaller Creating characters, stories and entire imaginary worlds A guest creators developing superhero comic Strengths, weaknesses and building interesting characters Collaboration between artists, writers and musicians AI as a supporting creative tool rather than a replacement for the creator Getting the ideas in your head out into the world Fin</video:description>
